Cameron Mitchell is a gifted pilot, who was offered a spot on the team after he risked his life to help them save Earth during a crucial mission. Now fully recuperated, Mitchell returned to Stargate Command to accept the offer. He has taken over command of the SG-1 team.

Browder is best known as John Chrichton in the award-winning SCI FI series "Farscape." For his portrayal of this character he has twice won the Saturn Award for Best Actor (the second Saturn was awarded in 2005) and for which he was nominated two additional times. He is also known to television audiences for his role as Sam, Neve Campbell's boyfriend in the Fox series "Party of Five." In addition, he appeared in several TV movies including "Paper Mansions: The DottieWest Story" starring Michelle Lee; Daniel Steel's "Secrets" starring Christopher Plummer and Josie Bissett; "Innocent Victims" with Rick Schroeder; and "A Wing and A Prayer" with Patty Duke. His serial TV credits include guest starring roles in "Melrose Place," "Grace Under Fire," "Murder She Wrote," and "Boys of Twilight" with Wilford Brimley. Browder recently completed filming "Behind the Camera, Charlie's Angels" in which he portrayed the handsome Lee Majors.
He made his feature film debut in "Memphis Belle." He also starred in "Nevada" with Gabrielle Anwar and Kirstie Alley, "A Kiss Before Dying" with Matt Dillon, and the independent feature "Boogie Boy," directed by Craig Hamann. As well he appeared in the Broadway production of "The Merchant of Venice" starring Dustin Hoffman.
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Browder is a graduate of Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. He received his acting training at Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
