What touching scene between Jack and Sam?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I don't remember how it ended except that Hathor fell into something and died.

the "touching" scene at the end I thought was funny. It reminded me of dominoes. First GHammond pats Sam on the back, she then touches Danny who then touches Jack. A chain reaction kinda thing. I just loved how GH finally got a piece of the action And I also love how Jack throws Hathor into the liquid nitrogen freezy stuff or whatever the hell it was. However I did think Hathor was kool. There aren't enough female baddies |

i like it when staragte let another team have their moments and alot of ppl go on about how much sg-1 is the focus but they are the leading team and stargate does let other teams have their moments like sg-9 the team was sg-9 werent it.

Hathor sure did die in a stupid way. Falling into a vat of chemicals. All other Goa'uld die in a more dramatic way, but with Hathor it was just *shove*, lets go.

Yes, it was rather an understated death. Most Goa'uld seem to die in ways that are a little more dramatic. But the fact that they haven't brought her back suggests that she must be dead. But then you never know. Perhaps she will show up in season 7? But O'Neill was able to throw her in because she didn't see it coming.
Yes, it was good to see Hammond show up off world - Teal'c was certainly surprised to see him on Chulak. And he obviously really enjoyed shooting the gun of that DG! But here's a question. We find a really cool DG which can fly through a stargate. Why don't we use this all the time when entering dangerous situations on other planets. It would give you one hell of an advantage. What did we ever do with this thing? Just leave it there on "Hathor's Planet" waiting for someone else to come along and claim it? Would have thought that was much more advantageous than some of the other things we've found around the place. |

I love that after Hathor refers to herself as "we" the entire episode, Jack says "All we wants is for you to go away" as he throughs her into the liquid nitrogen

Yes, I just re-watched this episode and had forgotten all about that lovely scene. He just seems so glad to see her. It's just such a nice warm hug. The other thing is that it looks like affection, but you could still assume it was just Jack literally needing warmth, so they can go back to business as usual. But do you notice how fast he always comes to Sam's rescue when she gets hurt/hit/attacked? (and she to him) Always a bit touching. |

I agree with the sentiment, but wonder if Jack was ever actually taken over # the Tok'ra said something about the freezing process preventing them from bonding. And they never mention naquada being in his system, so I don't think that happened. But he certainly could relate to the whole threat of it and the rest of the bonding seemed right on. (btw, it's "Jolinar" just so you know and because you care Oh and does anyone wonder what happened to the poor Tok'ra? They didn't even try to get her out! I assume that she got blown up when Sam blew the generator, but maybe that was in a different section of the complex. This post has been edited by Sam's Sister on Jun 10 2003, 01:52 PM |

I think we'll just have to assume that Dr. Raully's symbiote healed her like she said it probably could, because we never see her again. She was one of the better Tok'ra, though.
