Why doesn't Sam always carry them hand devices? She could really rule the battlefield. No Jaffa battallion could handle being flung back by Sam. Even if they got back up quickly, they would fear her like a system lord.

I thought this was a different kind of story for SG-1, I mean we have the Tok'ra coming to us and telling us that we may a Goa'uld here on Earth for how many centuries. I loved how Jack kept going on about waking up singing soprano. I do wish that Sam would be able to use some of the technology for our side, like the hand divice, though.

If she took the ribbon device into battle, I bet you she could convert some Jaffa. Once they see that Sam, a 'mere mortal' (okay, she's abit above that, but in the eyes of a Jaffa) is able to do what their 'god' can, they will have doubt. Then they can be converted into renegade Jaffa. Plus it would just be a useful weapon to have. I found it neat that Seth had the powder stuff like Hathor. Perhaps they had an affair? wink.gif

i'm not sure what i though of this ep, i generaly don't like ep @ home if you know what i mean! Like come-on you don't think the press would be lurking near by if a whole load of FBI agents or military turned up at this random high security house?!!!!!!

so i count it as an earth episode. biggrin.gif

yeah, i count it as an earth episode if SG1 actually goes out of the base to the civilian world (not including when jack goes fishing!), but the ones based in earh's orbit are normally quite ok! you know with all the "got to save the earth type thing! biggrin.gif

I wonder how the SGC handled the situation in Seth, with all the people exposed the sight of the hand device being used. the ring transporters as well. I wonder if they explained that they were drugged and anything they saw that was unusual, like being in a ring transporter was the effects of the drug.

The death of Seth in this episode is gruesome, wow, but it seemed carter was a bit disturbed from the experience. As if she had to bring up thoughts or ideas into her head that she did not like in order to kill with the hand device.

Did Seth carry that big throne around with him all these years or did he just pick up a new one where ever he went. It wasn't much to show for being on Earth all these years. blink.gif huh.gif

So how many of those dudes do you think were unics? Unappealing thing to wake up to, eh?

whistling.gif

Anyhoo... you'd think they'd at least have Sam train with the thing, being as she's the only one on earth that could use it, provided they don't have anyone from certain other races visiting. huh.gif

Or maybe she's not, I haven't seen all the episodes yet. sad.gif

I wonder if this will up the Tok'ra opinion of the Tau'ri? Jacob/Selmak obviously thought that the mission was just an excuse to get Jacob to Earth for his "unresolved issues" and Daniel found Seth on the computer in what...half an hour? laugh.gif whistling.gif
