Original Air Date: March 10, 2000 O'Neill is suddenly transported aboard Thor's ship, where he begins to hear a strange sound and moments later is faced with hundreds of menacing looking metallic bugs. The replicators were very cool indeed. Plus I liked Sam's hair for this one. I would say this cliffhanger beats the one for season 1 hands down. The replicators are far worse than the Goa'uld.

Ya, it isn't too good when its too short. But when her hair is too long and straight, it isn't all that great either.

And she lives in Canada
Her hair in Small Victories was the best I think. But she didn't get enough screen time with it. |

wow. i think it's an extremely interesting topic about the way sam does her hair. but i think the way a shotgun can blow away a replicator is more interesting to the guys.

Oh, yeah! I love those replicators, especially those really creepy sounds they make when they move and way a shotgun and P90 just blows 'em to smithereens. Ya gotta respect something that makes the goa'uld look down right, well, primitive in the "bad guy" deptartment. Hell these things give the Asguard a run for their money (well they would if Thor used money anyway) |

The replicators remind me on lego. And i like Sams hair at the start of season 4 and the end of season 3.
And i was looking at a site and it said that sam and jack MIGHT be going fishing in season 7 |

What site might that be?, i thought this was a damn good episode, good action, and good to see the Asgard(they're my favourite Earth Allies).

What were the exact type of gun that SG1 was using in this episode? I don't think that it was a P90 that SG1 was using since they didn't acquire those until mid-way through season four (unless I am mistaken). I also don't think that it was the SPAZ 12, since those are only semi-automatic (and we all clearly saw O'Neil, Tealc, and Carter firing in a fully-automatic mode at the end of the episode). I do think, however, that those guns may have been a USAF 12, or something along those lines but I cannot be sure. |

I liked the way they stole the gate! The look on Hammonds face was priceless. I also liked the fact that the first thing they did when they got the gate open was to protect the non-combatant by sending Thor's pod through.

I'm quite sure it was a S.P.A.S. 12, since it looked and sounded like the S.P.A.S. 12s in Vice City(which basically won me the game BTW). And they didn't have P90s in the Series till after that point in time, I'm guessing they were using MP5s.

Just how great do the Asgard think our potential is? I mean, Thor didn't have a clue as to how to stop them, but he thought that the Tauri might be able to figure it out?

I never really understood why Thor brought his ship to Earth if he couldn't figure out how to get rid of the Replicators. I mean, the Asgard are always saying they have "superior intellect", so why did they think we could figure it out? I dunno. I think it was a dumb idea in the first place because that puts our entire planet at risk of the Replicators. They could have wiped us all out!
possible spoiler for those of you who haven't seen what happens to Thor: Thor lives of course! |

He didn't. The replicators found the location of Earth in the ship's computer and brought it. Thor stayed on the ship (after evacuating the crew) in the hope of destroying the ship before it got there. If you'll remember, Thor said in his recorded message that if O'Neill saw that message that Thor had failed and probably condemned O'Neill to death.

to go through some points mentioned-
sams hair- i like it in the early part of season four( a bob style cut?) replicators/goa'ulds(sp)- the replicators win out right after all they were one of the many factors that brought the end of Apothis( who i kinda thought was the coolest bad guy chatacter so far) shippy momments- did you see the bit when they were in the briefing roon and he was telling tham not to come up the slight momment between o'neill and carter...arrr! |
