but when o'neill is talking to that reporter it is so funny "and its o'neill with 2 l's the other o'neil has no sence of humour" |

And this episode was the classic example of government coverups too. A reporter gets too close, and he gets 'accidentally' hit by a car. Right. Either the president ordered it, or the NID did. I doubt Hammond did, even though Jack seemed to think so. Cancer sucks. But you get to see how much Sam's father loved her and wanted to help her fulfill her dream of going into space. Little did he know, she was already planet jumping.

I suppose the story line has to move along, but did anyone else think Jacob gave in to the snake too easily? I mean, he didn't even know aliens existed until 30 mins beforehand, and now he's ready to become one???

It was really sad how Jacob left all angry when Sam turned down the position at NASA. Jacob thought she was throwing her dream away.

I just saw it and got irretated over the fact that thor's hammer wasn't considered for sharee's sake, espacaly since it got reperaed in thor's chariot, just a couple of episodes before and when they first expinced that device Daniel saw it as a hope for his wife

It was a painful scene to watch. Good acting. For a moment I thought Sam would tell him but that ended up not happening until later. Good thing he finally found out though. |

Ya, it removes the Goa'uld but it can also kill the host. They broke the hammer so Sha're couldn't use it. |

Well it may die the host but why wasn't it even considered?
in the end of 2x06 thor's charior the hammer was said to be repaired, maybe it wasn't mend at the time when 2x09 took place, may be it was. Still it was an option |

I got irked by that to. Daniel was always saying "We will find a way to get that thing out of you." when they already new how. Just take her to that planet and push her though the hammer. I don't understand it. |

This ep was so sad when Daniel was tellin Sharai he still loved her and when Sam's dad wanted her to join NASA and fulfill her dream. She must have been s close to telling him and then when he told her about the cancer she must be so brave cuz i'd have just broke down and cried.
I like the scene when Jack meets Jacob. -Im goin outside for some air. General...Colonel...Captain...Waiter?- |

Daniel did not know a way at the time. Or at least, not a sure way. That former host (Kandra?) on that planet said that the host sometimes did not survive the gou'ald being killed. I don't think he would have experimented on Sharre.

They best option is to use the page turners for "Legacy". I know they haven't gotten there at this point, but in later episodes, they don't even think to use them. Good examples are "Pretense" and "Forever in a Day". |
