I had to watch this a second time to appreciate it, but I did like it eventually. I guess I'm not a fan of flashbacks and time-loop things, of which this wasn't I know, but it still seemed like it.

Anyone know who played Daniel's father?

Robert Duncan..."Seth"

I think it's always cool when they do something like that like reuse actors in different roles.

I also find it nifty when they do something to Teal'c like give him hair and take away the First Prime emblem or give him sunglasses and a bandana to wear! He's such a hoot!

Sorry but this was the "Spock's Brain" episode for me - I REALLY hated it.

I think the gamekeeper character just got on my nerves with that stupid accent and all the poncing about! Sorry Reg Barclay fans! And Murdoch from the A Team fans. (why does he always play a nutter?!)

I liked the back story parts re Daniel and his parents and Kawalski, but the keeper guy annoyed me so much that I havnt given it many watches.

I can honestly say that this is the ONLY stargame episode that I actively HATE.

A-Team!! Go Murdock.
I like seeing Dwight Schultz show up in good Sci-Fi shows. It shows his acting depth.
BUT - I didn't like this ep. It really was far out fo the SG crew.
I don't think that I'll be watching that one again.

Dwight Schultz provides comic relief in some capacity in the shows that he has appeared in. Perhaps it is his following, kinda reminds me of a Sci-Fi Robin Wiliiams in some ways. Just does a great job in playing the dork.

I think they should have included Sam and Teal'c because that would help to show insight on their characters aswell. I feel sorry for Daniel and Sam's costume was...interesting. I feel soory for Jack to but Kowalsky's a bit of an ass.

I thought it was hilarious when everyone was going around picking the flowers and the gameskeeper was having hysterics! laugh.gif Served him right.

I think that when they get used to being 'outside', they will calm down. I don't think they will want a repeat of the the ecological disaster.

This episode was hilarios and sad (Daniels parents dying) but the bloke from Star Trek was great as the Gamekeeper. Also did enyone notice that the guy playing Daniels dad looked a lot like Seth.

The gamekeeper was just a paranoid control freak jerk. They probably hung him after few days.

They had been locked up for so long they probably don't remember how to do anything anymore.

I don't know. Several centuries of reliving your memories might be a reminder. That was the reason the Gamekeeper wanted SG1, after all, they had 'new' expericences to examine.

I guess that might be true.

I don't think they would have gone right back to destroying it again especially since they had been without it for so long. It probably made them value it more.
