"SG-1 gates to a world populated by female Jaffa. (Think Amazon warrior women.) These women are in hiding from a Goa'uld named Moloc. Moloc has declared that all female Jaffa babies must be killed and only the males raised. In an effort to save they baby girls, Ishta, a temple priestess, and her handmaidens have been spiriting the girls off-world instead of offing them.
"The problem? When the girls reach puberty they require a symbiote to act at their immune system, and the only way they can get them is by killing other Jaffa. The women have been conducting raids against Moloc's male Jaffa to get the symbiotes they need. SG-1 offers them another solution in the form of tretonin. Ishta jumps at the offer, but not all of her women are as eager to try the new drug or trust in strangers, and a power struggle ensues. "Teal'c gets to have a bit of romance with Ishta, and Sam gets to take the lead because these female Jaffa are highly suspicious of male warriors." #from gateworld.net |

Sounds good... A little bit o' feminism didn't do anyone any harm
 But I'm sure I've heard the name "Moloc" before- probably in a Buffy episode or something. At least it sounds kinda different to what we normally see...  |

More spoilers for the episode:
BIRTHRIGHT Written by: Christopher Judge Synopsis: The team visits a world and run into a Jaffa who is on their side. However, he's shot and killed by Jaffa loyal to their boss. Suddenly, they are killed, by some female Amazonian type warriors, who collect the symbiotes from the dead Jaffa. One of them invites the SG-1 team back to their plant, and since the Jaffa are moving in, the team obliges and soon find out that it wasn't by accident. Teal'c recognizes that the younger females in the village have the mark of the Gou'ald Moloc. Soon the men on SG-1 find themselves on the 'outs' as the women will only talk to Carter. Moloc only wanted the young males to survive, to groom them into Jaffa; female babies were immediately sacrificed in a gruesome manner (burned to death) to appease their god. So, men are not looked upon very highly in this tribe. The women instead steal the female children away to raise as warriors but their numbers are dwindling. Carter offers them an alternative to relying on the Gou'ald. aka Tretonin. Some of the women go to Earth, and one of them, Mala, volunteers to take the Tretonin. Back on the planet, Daniel gets on the wrong side of some of the warrior women when he talks to Nesa. Teal'c, however, gets closer to Ishtar (nudge nudge wink wink) . Back on Earth, Mala has a bad reaction ot the treatment. However, that doesn't mean it won't work on others. Soon, a power struggles ensues amongst the rest. Characters: Ishta (a gorgeous warrior priestess type, leader of her clan); Neith (another female warrior, doesn't trust men, has a sister named Nesa); Nesa (Neith's sister, young, trusting); Mala (another female warrior type). Carter said to Jack that she hopes to have better luck next time, talking about the party the guys are going ant the yack butter she's going to smell In french, she said she hopes to see amazon next time so when I heard that, I said it would be fun to see that but it would never happen and now, 6 years later, the team is going to see some amazon ? la stargate: female jaffas again, I think it would be a very funny episode considered Carter as a leader and Jack's there it made me thinks of rules of engagements when teal'c said of Jack as his underling  Anyway, I'm looking forward for this episode and for Teal'c's new girlfriend, good for him Did anyone saw that Jack didn't have a girl since One hundred days everyone else had, poor him |
