The Alpha Site is betrayed to the Goa'uld, who launch a crushing attack on the planet # but not before the self destruct can destroy the base. The base is being used to develop a weapon to stop Anubis' new drone army ('Evolution'), but only one is available.
"The Beta Site, which does exist, is mentioned. Jacob is present, but Major Carter has gone missing. Colonel O'Neill and Teal'c are searching for her. A combat-capable U.A.V. as well as normal U.A.V.s are used in the search. "Anubis has also launched an attack on Olokun's homeworld. Teal'c again gets to carry his glider gun, and O'Neill either has the prototype drone weapon, or another prototype weapon. It is mentioned that Carter has a 'vest' on, which may elude to the ceramic armour to be developed in 'Heroes.' Siler is also in the episode. It seems to be a big episode, and airs after 'Evolution.'" MY thoughts about 'Death Knell' This sounds like a very cool episode, can't wait to see Anubis' new drone army, i think Season 7 is going to be really something. |

This should be good,........I wonder if we'll see some good interaction...I mean MORE interaction between Jacob and Jack about Sam.....
Heee..................such glee...I can't wait. Maybe we'll get to see a "Primal Sam" defending herself...I don't get the 'missing ' part...maybe she got lost or something. PLEASE NO MORE PRISONER STUFF...it's getting a little low...  |

that is so not true. she's only captured as much as anyone else in SG-1. In fact, it was Jonas who got captured last, in Fallen/Homecoming.

if the a-site is distroyed does that mean we are finally gonna see a b-site built for once in this dimension as the only other times it has come up are in alternate dimension episodes?

I suspect that if the Alpha Site was destroyed, they would build another and name it Alpha Site again, although they may progess through the greek letters... I guess that in the alternate reality when we saw the Beta Site it was named this because they considered Earth to be the equivalent of the Alpha Site - I think this makes more sense actually, since the SGC on Earth is the primary base. |

Whoa, whoa whoa whoa.....hold on there buddy. Did you say "drone army"? <Ahem> Star Wars <ahem> Droid army <ahem> rip-off. What the heck? Are these "drone" SG's version of "droids"? Using the immortal words of Jack O'Neill, I say, "Oh for cryin' out loud." Rocks out. PS: What's next? Tollan running around with lightsabers called "laser swords" saying that they are adept at the ways of the "Vigor" (Force) ? Come on, people!!! It so sucks living in England it's gonna be forever till i see this, and it sounds really cool.
Seeing the drone army in action should be really wicked as the jaffa are getting a bit old now (think they must be the longest lasting ememy). poor CArter always has the worse luck. |

Actually it looks as though the second half of season 7 (including this episode) will be shown in the US and the UK (on SkyOne) at about the same time with maybe a week or two difference at most. It's even quite possible that it will be shown in the UK first. In past years, the UK has got the second half of the new season before the US, so it may be the same this year... I'm still waiting on SkyOne to release their air date for 'Evolution Part 2' which will give more information on this. |

We will get Evolution part 2 in the UK on Sky 1 Monday 15th, does this mean we see the rest of season 7 before USA?

Yeah i'd like to see some Jacob + Jack air time. Even if its not to do with Carter. I like how they play of each other. Should be a good ep, as lastnight I saw the drone for the first time and it was cool. The old make up guys went all out it was freaky, real scary even my husband thought it looked cool. |
