I have to say this was one of my favorite episodes of season 5. And the scene where the Jaffa were chasing Lt Tyler (in his true form) through the woods looked amazing.
Did anyone else think so? |

yeah but that special effect cost the production team alot of money cause i was listning to the audio commentry on this episode yesterday and where this episode is filmed its called red rocks because when the x-files filmed there they painted the rocks red and didnt clean them. the whole episode was fine until that stunt costing them a lot of money but overall it turned out really good. and when sam has ago at simmons god i was like one up for the ladies. carter:'youre user 4574 youve been looking through are personnel records and trying to find something to pin on us for ages who are you working for colonel' simmons:this interview is terminated. you show them girl. |

I'd like to meet Tylers race again, I always wish that we'd get the upper hand over the Goa'uld in one way. I thought it was really sweet that he'd give up his life to save O'Neill and his team, since Jack would not leave him behind.

That would be because the Goa'uld are mean and have NO friends Well maybe Yu is a nice enough guy to have friends. I know he is the closest thing we have to a friend among the system lords. |

i think the sgc would like to have one of these aliens. why don't we all just ally ourselves w/ them? (besides the fact we don't know where they are) that'd be nice. how come, if they can just go around impersonating people, they haven't killed off more of the goa'uld? |

I thought this was a good episode with some good special effects in it. The Tyler character could go far if his race is used more often as the ability to look different could be used on the Goa`uld (not sure if I mis spelt that !!!) to infiltrate and defeat them. Plus - as pointed out - John de Lancies episodes are the best of all of them. Hes a great actor to watch no matter what hes in at the time. |

I really enjoyed this episode. I loved Lt Tyler, and I too would like to see more of his race...an alliance perhaps? But they sounded like total pacifists and noncombatants, the bury your head in the sand type, so I don't really see a future for them in the show.

I wouldn?t like another episode with those Reol dudes. I mean, look at the attached picture; They?re ugly as hell. Half of the airmen detached to interact with them would piss their pants. And remember, we only saw their head and shoulder, god can only imagine what else they have in there.
Besides, the Tok?ra devised that mind serum that Daniel used in ?Summit? and ?Last stand? (season 5) So, I guess the Reol are useless. They buried their gate anyway. Attached image(s)
