I just wish that we did not have to let that bitca Nirrti go!!! I really want to kick her butt, she experiments on children and murders anyone she feels like.

But I did like seeing Cassandra growing up and I really liked seeing her with Janet.

do you think she would ever call janet or sam "mum" or "Mummy"? and if she does, who would she call mum first, i think that the relationship with jannet is stronger than with sam, though sam probably cares for her more! Opinions?

yes she does live with janet cvause janet is her adoptive mum and janet would be the most ideal person cause she knows about cassandra's past and the sgc.

Great to see an episode where Janet gets to be more than just a doctor. We finally got to see the full range of emotions from her as a mother.

I think Cassandra looks on Sam as a big sister and Janet as her mother, no matter what she said when she was ill.

I don't like who they chose to play grownup Cassy. She should have been hotter, but that's just my opinion. I guess most girls would pale in comparison to Sam anyways.

I thought the girl who played Cassie was good, especially for someone so young. It wasn't an easy part to play.

i agree- she and janet both did well making their parts realistic, especially janet, who- as people have said- doesn't get to have this sort of part very often.
and nirrti's such a slimy little ^*#!@*... mad.gif

I think that they should have used the same actress as they did in season one and two to portray Cassandra. I mean it looks like she has aged so much in just a couple of years. Why did they get another actress anyway?
was there something wrong with the other one?

They got a new actress to create a mature Cassy.

Just look at the kiss scene. A little girl wouldn't have been proper for such a scene.

I love the very end scene when Sam is making fun of Cassie about her first kiss and Cassie keeps telling her to cut it out. The camera goes to a close-up of Janet and her look of relief that things are back to normal and love for Cassie is priceless. For those who are questioning Janet's relationship to Cassie, she was ready to throw her career away to save Cassie. When she knocked out the guard and pointed the pistol at Nirti's head, you could tell she only cared about getting help for Cassie.
And I thought the actress who played the teenage Cassie did a fine job. She played her as a typical teenager. One who likes to go to the mall, hang out with her friends, and is becoming rebellious. I'm glad the writers let her character become assimulated to our society and didn't have her talking like a vulcan.

I found it very odd that Nerti would come back herself. That is not like a goa'uld to do their own dirty work. Am I alone on this?

Maybe, but I don't think she really had any Jaffa or any serious army so she would have to do things herself. Besides, she was different from the Goa'uld in other ways too... she was a scientist who seemed content to develop her own technology rather than stealing it all - this isn't very inline with the typical Goa'uld stereotype either.

This is by far my favorite episode. I have no complaints at all. I particularly enjoyed when Daniel was holding Janet's hand and telling her that he would always be there for her if she needed anything. wub.gif When she walked away, he did the cutest little arm drop in frustration thing before turning and mopeing off. The best part was when the Doc pulled the gun on Nirti and when Hammond said "Then may I remind you that the woman holding the gun on you is Cassandra's mother." That was the best! biggrin.gif
