SG-1 must reluctantly team up with a Russian unit, on an off-world mission to investigate the disappearance of a rogue Russian Stargate team led by Major Valentine Kirensky. Dr. Jackson attempts to open the doorway and gain access to the inside of a Ziggurat structure, which is believed to be 3000 years old.

I was really suprised how different the Russians and Sg1 really are. Also in my opinion this was the first episode in which the producers try to use fear.

Carter: "Whatever it was it eat him alive"

O'Neill: "How did it get in there"

Daniel: "Better question is...... where is it know?"

for some reason it reminded me of summin out of alien it was small like those face sucking thingys and it could climb up wallls and the sealing and they moved in like the same way and their major uglyyyyyyyyyy. sick.gif

That was by far one oof the most messed up episodes that stuck in my head for awhile. To have that creature buried with the Goua'ld in the chamber and eat him alive while the chamber was sustaining him. That was clearly a messed up way to go. Then you top it all off with the symbiot blending with the creature.

I never realised it but that was one of the 6 eyes. I wonder how Anubis manages to find it. Maybe that is why it takes him so long before getting to eye #6.
