have you considdered the fact that he might be made out of pure energy, and that "water" that's where his face should be is acctually liquid naquedah/naquadria. in another thread i said that it could be possible that the state of the naquedah (eg. solid/liquid/gas) determins the reactivity of the naquedah, henc a body made out of naquedah is possible

Even though it was a good episode, I was dissapointed to see that It wasn't a cliff hanger (because those usually are Stargate's best episodes, in my opinion). I guess they made up for it in season six, though, by beginning with a two-parter (Redemption).

probably because of the importance of what they had retrieved from the planet... all that DNA research... I mean if you were holding hte cure for Cancer and Aids.. and someone bumped into your car... and wanted to fight about he amount of damage... you are going to be more concerned with getting the knowledge you have...to the people that need it... more htan your car.. and what might happen if you delay... justa quick comment, i was intriqued by the way osiris acted when she was told daniel was dead, by replying "you lie", it was as if sara the hoast was still in there deep, lots of unresolved buisness for season 7, LOL, just and addy
p.s. if daniel rembers who he is first |

Very good point, corthon lyra. I actually didn't think of it this way until you brought it up. But how can she know who Daniel is after Daniel erased her memory of him using that chemical in "Summit"? As far as she should know, he is just the servant of Yu who tried to kill her. But then again, Osiris did ask Carter about Daniel Jackson. So we can assume that after "Summit" she was treated for the effects of that chemical and thus regained her memory of Daniel. Unfortunately, of all the good characters that got occupied by a Goa'uld, only Ska'raa was rescued. Sarah was very nice and cute, and it would be sad to have to lose her along with Osiris.
I was so pissed at the fact that the Asgards did not blow Anubis into oblivion, but Q5sys' point made sense. Perhaps the Asgard didn't even know if their improved ships would've been able to take out the new Goa'uld technology since the new Goa'uld technology is unknown to them as of yet. |

Nah, the asgard knew that they could blow them up. My guess is they did not want to start a war with the goa'uld while they were dealing with the replicators. Y'know, the goa'uld would then break the protected-planets treaty knowing they have the fire power to stand up to the asgard. Earth would be a prime target because the asgard wouldn't be able to help them. So in a sense, the asgard was saving earth and the other planets by not destroying anubis. The other system lords would take in anubis' forces and they would be more powerful. |
