This was i really good episode, I think Micheal Shanks could have played a bigger role as he didn't do much in Season 3/ nemises. But other than that it was agreat episode.

Does anyone know what the gun Jack and Teal'c were using is called, it wasn't an MP5 A5, P90 or a Spaz 12 but it looked really cool.

Thats true, they have far better effects than many other shows. I wonder how they manage to pay for all of it.

isnt it funded by mgm, they are a pretty big company, and also sg1 has proved to be a success, and people are now buying the episodes on dvd, and it does get pretty good air time in the UK, with channel 4, sky one and sky one mix

yeah mgm does fund it but how it works is they get a big budget if previous episodes with amazing and expensive special effects do well in ratings but if they dont then theyy just have to try and not go over the aimed budget but i agree the merchendise goes down well and the dvd's and videos biggrin.gif

Daniel is also still supposed to be recovering from having his appendix removed, and at the beginning of the episode Dr. Frasier is trying to tell him to take it easy for at least another week. So that is definitely why he is sitting around in the control room.

That and only Jack and Teal'c actually have any experience with replicators - well Sam does but she's not on earth so it doesn't matter.

The Asgard food reminded me of the pseudo-food they had in the original Star Trek. Just basically orbs of blue or yellow or other colored edible substances.

"I like the yellow ones."

And I thought Sam's hair was quite messy in this and the next few episodes. It looked like she just got out of bed. I love it when it's all neat and proper

I like the scenes when Sam struggled to find a solution to replicators invasion...and i was really sorry that they had to destroy the "O'Neill" ship.

Um, I don't know if its just me but I thought it looked great that way. She was much hotter with that "messy" hair than with her season 2 hair. But then again, her hair is almost always good.

Probably with Canadian dollars, eh? The fx companies probably do them cheaper than their L.A counterparts.

Seriously though, this episode is also a fave of mine because of the replicators...I also learned thanks to Thor never to underestimate the power of a "stupid idea" smile.gif
