In the season seven opener, "Fallen," Daniel is not only forced by Oma Desala and company to resume human form, but they give him a huge case of amnesia so he can't tell anyone what he was doing while he was gone.

Fallen airs in June 2003 on the SciFi Channel, and will probably air in September 2003 on Sky One.

The US starts each new season of Stargate SG-1 in the Summer, and plays new episodes until the Fall, when US networks start all of their new Fall shows. Cable shows like Stargate then go into reruns until January, avoiding the competition from mainstream channels like NBC, ABC, etc.

The UK starts each new season of Stargate SG-1 around September, and plays a new episode every week, until the season is done. (Some years they take a week off here or there for the holidays.)

So, for the 7th year in a row, SG-1 will be ahead in the US for the first half of the season, and it will be ahead in the UK for the second half.

Didnt we all say that Daniel will have amnesia like in Angel!!! Although in Angel, Cordelia did get some of her memory back in parts... tongue.gif

And yeah, the US always get the first half of the season, but it also annoys them when they have to take a huge break. I dont really know which is worse - start early but have a huge break in the middle of the season, or start late but have the whole season in one go

Yes Daniel is back, see he links SG1 to the Film, and is a wicked charcter. One of my best bits is when he introduces himself to the system lords as, the great and powerful Oz. How funny, I wish I could speak fluent Goauld. I have a few things I would like to say to them! fro example

"Cre Anubis, Die" obviously die would be in goauld, and I would have Thor Sumpreme Commander by my side with a ship like the O'neil. biggrin.gif

now why would anyone in the us have to wait? can we say alt.binaries ;-> I not only have every episode up to 0618, but watch them a month ahead of us airing. for fans I'd think you'd be aware of such resources ohmy.gif

As long as daniel is back and all the rest of the crew (including Jonas Quinn) are back.....then who cares what country shows it first!?!?!? No matter if it is showed in US or UK first you will find the most up to date SG-1 episode within 12 hours of broadcast on TV on Bittorrent...for all of you who dont know it....visit www.kennyville.com/zenith Its the easiest place to download the most up to date SG-1.
I dont mean to advertise sites that are not meant to be shared..i mean I just use this site and have no financial interest in it LOL...but I love to share good stuff

Fallen and Homecoming (1st and 2nd episdoes) will be a two parter exploring the Daniel thingie.

Episode 3 'Fragile Balance' will apparently explore the subject of the Asgards use of cloning.

This comes from issue 102 of 'Dreamwatch' who have a small article with Co-executive Joseph Mallozzi.

He also promies big things on the System Lord front later on in the season and the team will have an action packed year leading up to the season final 'Final Debrief'.

'Sarah aka osiris' also returns so expect more from Daniel involvement with her.

Jackson's Unas friend Chaka should be back plus O'Neills Goa'uld tortuer Ba'al and Yu with the Goa'uld Imhotep also seems likely to be introduced.

Jonas's homeworld Kelowna will also feature with Mallozzi assuring that popular actor Corin Nemex will retain a presence on the show. Quote: "I don't know about a prominent role, but we'll be seeing Jonas in season seven, he won't be disappearing..

Apparently Hammond gets a chance to go 'Off-world' again.

Amanda Tapping is scheduled to direct an episode in Season 7

Both Michael Shanks and Christopher Judge will be turning in scripts for it also.

ok when daniel returns to sg1 can't fraiser do the phycroatric thing and say things that might triger his memory and we could use his memory and experience to improove our tech, but please take into account the ep "absolute power" (sp) in season 5, look what happened then!!!!! beware, look how dangerous it is for daniel to know so much!!!!!!

I also think rda should have the right to spend more time with his family he has a 4 year old and he should spend some time with his family. also with him taking a smaller work load it will give jonas some time with carter teal'c and daniel on thier own missions. i hope rda comes back for an 8th season cause if he comes back then the other members of the team will more likely sigh up for another season.

Actually, it wasnt dangerous to know so much. It was the danger of having Gao'uld memories (including Apophis) as this causes him to hate Teal'c (cause Teal'c betrayed Apophis) and having all the souless memories and destroying of people and such...

It;s just like being a Gao'uld but without the simbiote...
