The dudes name was Rak'nor. He was first seen in the ep. "The Serpent's Venom". At first, he was he was against Teal'c and his anti-Goa'uld ways. So he turned Teal'c over to Heru'ur and Teal'c was tortured. We learn later in the ep. that Rak'nor's father ripped off Rak'nor's gold emblem on his forehead(of Apophis, I believe). So that's how he got the scar. But in the end, he joined with Teal'c.

Rak'nor was also seen in the season 6 ep. "Allegiance". Although, he didn't have a huge part in that ep.
