Homecoming - Part 2
Jonas' home planet (and its minerals) has attracted the attention of Anubis. SG1 reluctantly shows up on Kelownan to render some kind of aid (despite how the Kelowans have behaved toward them in the past). Jack must deal with diplomats (his favorite people). But the Gou'ald, as usual, are never happy - this time with each other. Baal and Yu see this situation as a chance to destroy Anubis. Up on Anubis' ship, Jonas and Daniel must work together to survive. #thanks to 'ferret' for the tip http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sg1_spoilme |

"Jack must deal with diplomats" ya like with a p-90
I wonder if the Goauld even know about naquadria or if they just didn't use it cause of it's unstability. Maybe Annubis is going to make another planetbuster |

Hmmm... whose homecoming, I wonder? What's the odds on Jonas deciding he needs to stay with his planet to help them out, while still appearing occasionally as has happened with people like Jacob, Bratak, etc? any takers?
Incidentally, when someone from earth blends with the tok'ra, how come they always go and live with the tok'ra? Why don't we have a tok'ra come live with us for a change? loopy |

Hum... if Jonas spends the episode on a spaceship I'm guessing we're not going to get to meet his family and friends.... poor guy, I wonder sometimes....

Cool, cool, cool..Ba'al and Yu and Apophis....
Sounds like a winner. It also sounds like maybe the writers will use the time that Daniel and Jonas are together to maybe straighten a few things out such as... I can picture Daniel having a VERY unpleasant sense of deja vu of his previous "death" when he goes to Kelownan, and Jonas being uneasy for the fact that he perhaps feels responsible for what happened... just a thought.... |

The Goa'uld use Naquadah in their technology - they were experimenting with Naquadria a long time ago but they gave it up. it is us that uses Naquadria in our technology, that is why our systems are mush smaller and we can fit the equivilant of a Goa'uld hyperdrive in a fighter, when the Goa'uld version of the technology is probibly at least 20 times bigger than the fighter itself. |

Because we are not advanced enough to build a Goa'uld hyperdrive. The technology we do have is all retro-engineered and it's still nowhere near the level of a Goa'uld drive. It does have alot more potential though due to the vast amounts of energy you can extract.

If we could ever get it to work right.
Maybe we do and the Goauld can read an energy signature from the x-303 hyperdrive....... They think...."If those monkeys can get it to work so can we" Or they want a Naquadria bomb to blow up annubis |

Maybe he'll sort of do both. Teal'c stays at the SGC but he still goes back to visit sometimes. There's no reason why Jonas can't do the same thing.

I've seen this episode and well the spoiler is right but there's actually no Ba'al... no Yu... no Apohis and no Anubis. well and you got it... no spaceship...
There's a conflict on the homeworld of Jonas and they want military help from SG1 to defend their land. Yeah... Sg1 wants the Naquadria but the don't want to give them waepons. A formerly teacher of Jonas believes that a underground organisation, named "resitance", is about to take over control and will stop the war but there's no organisation... it's only in his mind... or better, in his paranoia caused by the Naquadria. So the Episodes ends without helping and without a war. Well I guess there will be a war. But we'll never see what will happen. (by the way: in germany it's the first episode available on tape but actually no second part of anything) This post has been edited by Morpheus: Apr 10th 2003, 4:31 AM |

I'm not sure why you think season 7 is available to rent on tape, but since it hasn't FINISHED FILMING YET, it is kind of hard to believe. You are talking about Season 6, Episode 7 - Shadow Play. See the episode guide. |

[QUOTE]I though posibaly eather Jack or sam resigned so the 2 could finaly hook up You're kidding, right? I can't ever see that happening. It didn't even happen when the Aschen came and supposedly solved all our problems, so why should it happen when the fight's still on? loopy ps the first time I've tried quoting, so apologies if it doesn't turn out right! |

Ham, it would be nice to see our fav lovebirds finally get together, but until Anubis' half-ascended corpse is burning in a pile of donkey-dung, it's not going to happen.
They realize that the Earth needs them more than they need each other right now, so the SGC would come before any relationship they could possibly have. Back to the topic: Yea, "Homecoming" definately implies someone RETURNING and most likely staying at his home. I'm with everyone else in thinking Jonas will do the commuter thing and try to help his world. This post has been edited by ColonielJackO'NeillRocks: Apr 18th 2003, 11:10 PM |

homecomming applies to two things
1- Daniel's return to the SGC and thereby, Earth. 2- Jonas returning to his homeworld, even if just to solve a conflict. Homecoming does not imply anything about anybody staying anywhere, that's simply speculation. |
