In the beginning, when the young O'neill was trying to explain himself, I was just waiting for him to 'For crying out loud'!

Yeah, that's what it was! Umm, I downloaded it. Umm... Wicked episode. I like little Jack SO MUCH! He's such a tyrannical, teenager especially with the Colonel's pissed off attitude! I loved the script. It was class. Full of quotes that I won't forget in a hurry; "General no offence, but you're not the one who went to bed watching CNN and woke up as part of the MTV generation..." and of course BIG Jack's first words to Loki- hilarious... Jonas is "the one"- though you guys probably knew that already. "But I thought I was advanced?" *Ego-dented O'Neill* |

Just thought i'd put up some of my favorite quotes from the ep
Teal'c: Are not experiencing increased health and vitality? Clone: My...vitality was just fine before this. Teal'c: Are you conducting some sort of experiment, O'Neill? Clone: Hey! There's nothing wrong with that, it's still good! Clone: So much for intellectual superiority. O'Neill: I was going to say that. |

I know this was a comedy episode and the people shoul'd be happy when they are finnished with the episode but i think it would be best if tor could not heal the boy and he realy dies. that is a good classic ending and it would not leave that much questiens open.
but now with him alive i realy think there is going to be a subculture of Fanfic writers to create a universe of O'Neils Creek or something like that. cold be fun. |

um...about the memory thing...i was wondering that too! I mean only 2 eps b4, he didn't have any memory at all and then suddenly...its all back and he's just like he never left...that just doesn't seem realistic to me...anyone else?

I'll say it again.......Sci-fi and realistic.............what part of these two words (counting scifi as one) go together.
Spaceships...that's realistic A bunch of Alien species that look almost the same as humans (obviously Darwin was wrong0....realistic? A portal to other planets...........realistic A parasitic alien that can completely take over another body....realistic? Need I go on....I could do this for another hour if need be. A guy ascends to a higher plane of existance and you don't blink, but he gets his memory back and you say it's unrealistic......hahahaha. When in doubt think "God made it so" or in this case "Oma made it so" They even explained this by saying "a loophole" discovered by Oma. |

hmmmmm.... This ep is canon fodder, it didn't really expand on the plot of the whole show. yes i figurd that human's are more advances then before example season 2 the fifth race. if O'Neill wasn't that advanced he'd be limpy toast in the brain.
SO I'D SAY that this ep was part of a writers block that should have aired in the 2nd or 3rd season. (it just doesn't fit in the seventh) |

Unless you know exactly how the memories & knowledge of the Ancients thing works (and we don't), you can't really speculate or say that it's unrealistic. How do you know it's not meant to all come flooding back at once in these cirumstances? To a certain point many things in the show are unrealistic (as Odin said) when compared with our science and technology today. This is science fiction after all - it would be virtually impossible to have a science fiction show where everything is believable in terms of our current scientific advancement - that wouldn't be very fictional This post has been edited by Aesir: Jul 1st 2003, 5:25 AM |

My question is that now that there are 2 O'Neills, does that mean they can take eachother fishing?

Michael Welch played a very convincing O'neil... he's a cool actor... would definitly like to see him come out on another episode cause it seems to awkward just to leave a char with such a connection to the original characters by making hima throwaway...
really seemed like it was O'neil cloned. |

Meaning they both would probably drink too much beer and pass out in a ditch somewhere.

Not quite, although that IS a possibility! I meant that Jack does seem to have trouble when he's trying to go fish. The curse probably affects little Jack as well. So, getting them together at the same time, at the same lake might well be into the realm of the impossible. |
