He just dialled the planet he wanted to go to and the Puddle Jumper automatically went through the Stargate. When he got to the planet, he abandonned the Jumper and dialled the address of another planet.

Before he passes through the gate, the PJ stops for a moment, Sheppard orders him to stop, Ford looks at him, then at the gate, and he pushes a control forward, and only after that the PJ passes through the event horizon. He is also not sitting in the pilot's seat, it is unlikely that he could push anything from where he was sitting that would make the Jumper move forward. I'm also going to suggest that the discussion is continued in the thread for 'The Seige' part 3, so that spoiler tags aren't required.

Maybe the person who made the virus was one of thier own. maybe who didn't like the unfairness towards people who didn't have the gene? beacuse they wouldn't be able to use all the ancint technology? - Just an idea? I don't understand what you mean here. If the creator didn't like the unfairness towards those without the gene, why would he/she create a virus that would kill those who don't have gene? Season 3 spoiler: » Click for Spoiler « We know that it was created by the Ancients but it was an experiment that went wrong. The Asurans evolved from the nanites and became a race very similar to the Human-form Replicators. The Ancients saw the mistake they made and almost wiped the Asurans out but a few escaped and went into hiding. Those who remain want revenge on the Ancients and wish to destroy Atlantis.

While watching the movie, Cube, a plot development led to the use of prime numbers. Remembering the opener to this episode where Zelenka, McKay, and Ford are playing 'Prime/ Not Prime' I wondered whether it was a notion to the movie. They didnt say anything about it on the commentaries so I thought I'd point it out
