This was a good episode, Daniel has been getting a lot of work this season.
He gave a strong personality.
Michael Shanks did a great job once again.

The Una's were so cool.
Chaka is so cute.

It was hardly a battle. The SG teams were tresspassing on the Unas territory. The Unas were just defending what was theirs. Besides if it had been a full blown battle, the Unas would have kicked the Sg teams asses.

A very good episode. I always like when the Unas are present in one. Pity that the original Chaka was replaced but other than that I felt very positive about it.

I hope we will see more about this Human-Unas alliance further. I would like to see them working or fighting together against common threats and even especially for humans to be willing to sacrifice themselves to protect their Unas 'friends'.

Prejudice is a very human trait and in our arrogance we are often blinded by what is important and by our own conceits.

That was the original Chaka. He was different because he took over leadership of the Unas. He basically became the alpha male.

I meant the change in the actor playing Chaka. I liked the movement and expression of Dion as Chaka better!

Dion Johnstone as Chaka in "The First Ones"

Patrick Currie as Chaka in the "Enemy Mine"

I told my wife that there was some parallels with ST:TOS Devil in the Dark.

Humans come to a planet to mine it.
Humans do something to tick the natives off.
Natives end up mining for the Humans.

When I found out that this was another Unas episode I was pretty reluctant to watch but geez. This was a really great episode. I loved the whole negotiation process with Daniel, Chaka and the Other one. The conclusion was briliant and was it just me or did Chaka start bathing? He looked alot cleaner and well groomed

Int he other episodes that we have seen Chaka, he was played by Dion Johnstone (Lt. Tyler in 'The Fifth Man) but in this episode he was played by Patrick Currie (the Human-form Replicator, Fifth). That is why he looked so different. I preferred Dion Johnstone playing him though.

I should have read that above, thanks for that Daf. I never really pay attention to stuff like that.
It was a different costume that they used though. He was a greeny colour in the first eps and now he's suddenly brown/tand and lacking horns. He looked pretty good, like an Unas diplomat.

This is another one of those moments with Daniel that make me laugh. You know, the ship moment with his hand buzzing around. (yes im watching it right now)

I actually liked this episode. Daniel's 'ship noises' had me laughing. He can be so child-like at times.

I also think that its not really a far trade. They do the work and we get the resources for building our ships. I think that we made out like bandits.
