I wonder how John will react if something happens to Weir in eps to come. If weir gets lost or kidnapped John will probably rush to her rescue. |

Wee! This is a fun topic!
My money is on Teyla getting him first because of the conversion episode. John and Teyla Spoiler from Conversion. Click for Spoiler John and Weir Simon is out of the way now. Sorry if that spoiled, but that episode is old now... Old enough I think. Simon is a jerk (and a recycled actor with A REALLY UGLY HAIRCUT! BOOOOO!). But at least he's out of the way. She's wayyyy too emotional about John. It's obvious to everyone. She tries to make it seem like it's a perfectly innocent emotion but it's not. Because if it is innocent and she doesn't like him, and she isn't confused about how to act when it comes to him, then her body language is completely wrong. John likes her too, but it's hard for me to see them getting together under the circumstances. She does seem a bit too old, it is against the rules, and it would be awkward. He has shown way more interest in Teyla. Conclusion, Weir is also not his OTP. Teyla and Ronan They're developing more respect for each other. And I can see the attraction being enough. I'm not sure though how getting together with John and then breaking up with him would affect her chances for getting with Ronan though... Spoiler from Aurora: Click for Spoiler |

I agree with Togar on this one and I must say I really like the Shep - Weir thing. I hope there would be more shipping along the way.
Teyla since the pilot has been the obvious choice for a romantic involvement, following their initial flirting (pilot), yet I do not thing that either one of them are each other's type. For proof is rather early. However, watching the episodes I can see a fairly readable vibe firstly between Teyla and Ronan (Both attracted to sexiness through strength and pain). Secondly, between Shep and Weir (look on the storm & the eye or 38 minutes). I think Shep felt something more for her because she was the one that gave him credit in the first place. She chose him for the mission and all this unbeilivable adventure that he lives through and that gave him purpose. As a guy who has no ties of family or friends back home, he couldn't but take notice of her noticing him. |

Teyla and John would be nice yes. John seems to show a soft spot for her as the series goes on.
Weir and John seems like a lot like the O'neil and Carter you know superior officer wouldn't it be redundant. |

Shep/Teyla thats the best couple, but after that what i have seen until now it's hard to foresee who will be with John
. after conversion i thought that Teyla have a good chance, but in this season you can see that Weir also have feelings for him ( siege 3, intruder, even in conversion ). but i think, no matter how old she really is in the show, that Weir is to old for John. Weir and Shep should stay friends and he could be with Teyla  we'll see... but maybe we'll wait for it a long time (Jack/Sam  ) i think it would be nice a little lovestory in the show but in the backround... mainly it's a sci-fi show |

It seems as the series has gone on that John and Weir have been getting closer over John/Teyla, which I'm personally cool with. Although, while its not against the rules for them getting together, it would be awkward from a command perspective.

Well lets be practical: for starters, Shepherd mst be a minimum of 35 yrs old as he was supposed to have served in gulf war one, which was 1990/1991 time. Teylas is supposedly mid twenties, which, is plausible given the extra strinas on her upbringing lol, Dr weir, doesnt seem to wear a wedding ring, and as she is civilian, in a military operation, she would not be allowed to fraternise in such a way that could threaten the integrity of the chain of command. (yes i know, i'm a very sad man lol). on the flipside, Weir can always bring her fella into the programme now that daedalus is popping up regularly with skinner from the x files at the helm, and who says dr wier will choose shepherd anyway? after all, its been hinted at long enough, but i cant see a ten year hint a la carter and o neill on this one. I see a lot more Sheppard and Weir. Sometimes Sheppard doesn't even seem to like Teyla. Besides, I thought Teyla and Ronon were supposed to be an "item".
