QUOTE(Dafmeister @ Apr 10th 2005, 6:14 PM) Perhaps one where Teyla gets a bit more screen time for some of that much needed development. Teyla is in danger of becoming a very boring character otherwise. im confused...in danger of BECOMING a boring character...*ponders what this may mean*...was she ever anything but a boring character? she never does anything interesting, the only episode where she got to do anything decent so far is the gift - and i spent the entire episode wishing that Bates would just shoot her she was annoying me that much... and what is with her this season? first ep. she sounded like a robot running off lines she had no idea of the meaning of, and what was with the hand gestures?!?! that was on a par with mister-Tony-i-must-emphasise-every-stupid-thing-i-say-with-pointless-and-over-emphasised-hand-gestures-Blair. seriously what was up with that?!!? |

on a german website i found a spoiler for trinity which mentions the new power source and a new ancient weapon which might be another defence sattelite read on:
QUOTE During standard clearing-up mission on planet, which - as the team thought - before long time from the Wraith was already destroyed, finds the team a Antikergebaeude in the midst of the ruins. After some research, they recognize that the monolith served as military research station. There the Antiker worked on a progressive method of new energy. When the Wraith attacked, before the project was completed, the technology flew to air and destroyed the civilization. McKay thinks for serving that if the technology should be completely developed, it as constant energy source for Atlantis could. However hope turns over to fear of activating as with McKays first Vesuch, the energy source a scientist of Atlantis dies. And although the remainder of the team is against it, McKay exists to continue the research in order to complete the project. But it creates McKay it creates to re-activate the technology without bringing itself thereby, Sheppard and completely Atantis into deadly danger? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Teyla and Ronan visit the planet Belkan some commercial transactions with former trade partners from Teyla to to make over there. In bar the two look for brines Sincha, which is old between 28 and 35 years for a man of name and very well state can - how the situation is no matter. Ronan and Teyla meet in bar on brines, where these degrees a history from its fight against the Wraith tells some people and exaggerates easily. Ronan and brines are pleased to see very each other. Both served Atteria together in a regiment on their homeland planet and Ronan experience now for the first time that all inhabitants of its homeland world by the Wraith one did not kill. Ronan was met by a Culling jet of the Wraith and carried forward thus. But before the city, which one tried, created to defend wrongly it military to bring itself politician and over 300 civilians in a secret shelter in security. Atteria was given up and the remaining survivors distributed on many different worlds around there its race to keep. Some from them went to the Belkanern, other to the Manarianern. When the two continue to drink and in memories smolder towards, experience Ronan the fact that its former master, Kell under which survivor was. The two seem to have been close friends, but by something this friendship seems to have changed itself into something bad. Kell and its family live now on Belsa. There it operates a flowering commercial transaction (with weapons) and a personal army developed. There is no closer volume than between a military pupil and its master, and/or the teacher. But Ronan means it serious and does not want to Kell to find over not completed tasks to lock. Meanwhile state McKay and Zelenka as well as Sheppard a team of scientists, in order to supply a recently discovered weapon with energy - probably a Antiker weapon satellite. After many computer simulations problems seem to in-creep however nevertheless. McKay however wants to make a Testvesuch nevertheless and starts a test run. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Martin Wood over "Trinity": "McKay commits a large error and can the day no longer save. The Story is a great character masterpiece for Sheppard and McKay. The relationship of the two is put to a large test and both actors had to clear-come with the changes, which get their characters thereby. It is, those for Sheppard and McKay accelerating a change works and Joe and David with this task grew." it was translated using the google language tranlator the original website is http://www.stargate-project.de/stargate/in...showfolge&ID;=26 |

Unlimited power for atlantis would just not work this early in the series.
I mean I know when the Gou'ld were defeated in SG-1 I had this "now what" feeling until the new season started. Imagine something like that happening this early on in the series of Atlantis |

u just eventually run outta bad guys to nail, but you cant keep the same bad guys for too long, or it gets boring....
if the tech is good, why not cart it back on trucks and gate the equipment back to atlantis to finish off... or he could do some background reading from the database first... like read the instruction manual, before fooling around.... *i think he loves the hands-on experience ;P |

Did anyone else think Rodney was acting a little out of sorts? I know having a member of his staff die was hard on him and the big shiny gun was tempting but it didn't seem quite like Rodney. He seemed more maniacal. I would've expected to see something like this during the two weeks they had to prepare for the Wraith attack.
Maybe, I'm missing something but it seemed as if time was on their side. I don't get McKay's overt enthusiasm, even before that man died. Sure the military weren't going to just let it go but Rodney would've been the person they wanted working on it so I don't see why he wasn't more precautious. On the upside, I did like the scene where Rodney was doing his "Oh you're not smart enough to understand" routine on Sheppard who explained quite clearly that he did understand. And Rodney's look of shock! LOL! I guess he forgets sometimes that Sheppard took the Mensa test and passed. I thought showing that Sheppard's not just a military grunt was cool. |

We know how ZPMs work now and how they are depleted.
They contain a section of vacume subspace. That energy inherent in that area is literally depleted. |

Everyone rewatch the scene where the energy breaches the first time. You'll see when they go into the corridor a camera on the left background.
I thought this was a good episode, telling us once more that Mckay is not Superman, even though Mckay is the best in the entire show. |

Hey, if this is a spoiler thread for an episode that aired pretty much long ago, shouldn't it have been moved in the Archives some time after everyone has seen it? I mean, a thread about the episode was opened in the episodes forum, what's the point of keeping this here?

All defunct spoiler threads are moved here once the episode has aired. |
