NEW! April 26 ? "Sheppard and Teyla have a very special friendship. Will it blossom into more? You'll have to wait and see. Be sure to watch episode eight: 'Conversion.'"
(Stargate writer Martin Gero, in a message at GateWorld Forum) i dunno what to think about this. I love the idea ..I can't wait til ep. still for this comes out , I wonder what Rodney , Elizabeth , Carson and Ronon will be doing while this is going on . WHat ever triggers this "blossom". Well tell what you think about . Oh yeah I looked I didn't see a topic for this or I may have missed it so please don't close . But I want to know what others think . shipper news or not .  |

I thought conversion was in Episode 8 as Aurora is scheduled to be number 9, or am I wrong?

It depends on what way they plan on making of it. It's early in the series' history, So if something does happen then things might start to get akward then they start acting funny infornt of the others. I think it'll more likely be something happens then they'll probably end up pretending like nothing ever happened & put it down to the current situation of the Wraith.
If they do decide to get it on then in my opinion make it happen over a few series. They want to be together but there are more important things to take care of first etc like the whole Wraith situation. They having them trying to do their jobs while fighting their temptations will come off a lot more realistic. Head over to the image requests, I've taken a few screenies & I'll put them up now for you. |

I think if Ronon starts to develop feelings for Teyla, John might get a little jealous???? But then again I hope they don't go down the road of Teyla returning her feelings for Ronon otherwise Major Sheppard and I are going to go after the writers with a baseball bat!!!
I really can't wait to see what happens but I really do hope the episode shows John's feelings for Teyla or both not just Teyla's feelings for John. Otherwise the baseball bat thing is going to come into play again!! |

Hurrah for possible impending romance!
I agree with what you guys were saying... they shouldn't just jump into it. Plus, it will draw more viewers if they drag it out. I mean, look at Jack and Sam. I think that, ah, one of the above people ... were on to something with the Ronon thing. Not necessarily that Ronon will fall for Teyla, but that John might get jealous. Whoo-hoo! *Loves alien romance*  |

Yeah! Martin Gero said a couple of weeks ago that Shep will experience how the other half lives in 'Conversion' (ie. as a Wraith) From the severity of it, I can't really see it being a one episode wonder, where McKay miraculously finds the cure at the end of the Ep. (At least I hope not anyway!)

Grrr. I wanted the ship to be between Sheppard and Weir. The Teyla/Sheppard combination is too obvious!!
Those pictures are great though. Sheppard as part Wraith! This will give him a chance to show a bit of acting chops. |

I am SOOOO HAAAAAAPY that it is Teyla/John. I was a Sheyla shipper from the very first episode I guess their pairing is now pretty much canon!

I wonder if Sheppard is able to tap into the Wraith telepathic communication thing?? Maybe that's the "special relationship" they are talking about. Sheppard and Teyla are talking to one another through telepathy.

I suppose being on this show Shepard is most likely turning into a wraith but his eyes look more catlike then wraithlike - and what wraith had blue/yellow skin?

So this is really a two parter. The think about the reptillian bit is that this is a result of Beckett's early testing of the Retro-virus. He injects the little Wraith with it & it backfires & turns her more buggy than human. So when she bites Shep, He obviously goes down her route. Wraith are a combination of both Human & Bug. Kinda like in balance, so when the rv is given to her, she starts to revert to the bug creature. Therefore Shep also goes more bug than the Wraith that we've come to see. Can't see how they manage to reverse it. They probably capture the little Wraith & Beckett extracts some samples from her. Beckett then finds a way to reverse the process on Shep only because he hasn't fully turned yet. Then by the time 'Michael' comes around he's fully perfected it. |

hmmmm, I don't really like it when they try to bring romance into the show, the whole Jack/Sam thing was dragged out way too long in my opinian...
but still, if it has to be done Sheyla's a nice ship, much much much better than Shep/Weir; I can't stand that (ack, any Shep/Weir fans, please don't flame). If ya'll want Weir to get some luvin' pair her up with McKay!!  MCWEIR 4 EVAH!!  |
