The Character is in Married with children Season 5, I will try to find a picture or vid to use an reference.

Yes, he plays in Married with Children, but not in Season 5. He plays in episodes 8, 12, 15, 19 and 23 of Season 8. His character is named Aaron if I remember correctly.

Thanks for pointing that out, I edited my post. What I mean to say that he was in 5 episodes. Aaron looked ust like him to me. I never got around to finding two good pictures.

I don't know what's wrong with my, my typos and mistakes are out of control the last two days.

I was trying to find pictures of him from the first ep on Married with Children. That's the one where I noticed that he looked like Franks to me. I don't have the DVDs, so I can't take a screen shot.

THis was the only pictures that I could find online, but it still looks like Ford to me.

From what I heard, RSF's character of Lieutenant Ford has been completely written out of the Stargate Atlantis series ...

He was a Much Music VG before Atlantis.

Really?!! I thought that he had a role with his group of other guys who relied on the wraith's chemicals, or whatever that stuff was called... How can they just ditch a storyline like that? Stupid TPTB.

Yeah, Ford had his band of 'Lost Boys' I guess, they were all hopped up on the Wraith Enzyme, but most of them died during the attack on a Hive Ship in the mid-season two parter in season 2.

Ford was last seen alive on the Hive Ship before it was destroyed, but the majority of his group died. 3 or 4 fell off a ledge as soon as they were beamed out of Sheppard's Dart, Ford's XO (second in command... former Genii... can't remember his name) died in a cell.

In fact I think the only two members of Fords little private army thing who survived (for sure, with Ford's fate up in the air for now) were the two left behind to guard McKay... and if I were Ford I woulda fired them for letting McKay escape... though cause of that the rescue did show up... so maybe they can still pay the bills...

I got the impression that TPTB let Ford's fate deliberately unresolved. It's no secret they didn't like Ford's character but TPTB aren't exactly consistant when they kill off characters, they tend to turn up now and again. Personally, I don't see Ford coming back but the TPTB have left the possibility for a return.

It's another case of something that at the time looked to return, but as time went on the show just naturally moved on and now there is less room for the ford storyline, their plots have moved on from that. I doubt we'll see him again now.

As much as I believe Ford's character finally became interesting enough to care about, I have to agree that too much time has passed and I doubt we will see his return. It's very much like SG1. Throughout the 10 years they introduced someone or left a story somewhat hanging, and have never gone back to it. TPTB involved in these two shows love doing that. I think they live for the day to keep the fans hanging!

Time doesn't really mean anything to TPTB though. Harlen and the android SG-1 returned in season 4 after three years away and TPTB went back to 'The Gamekeeper' from season 2 with the episode 'Avatar' in season 8.

I think the device from gamekeeper was just the tool for accomplishing the episode that they wanted though. They didn't just think 'hey, we haven't seen the gamekeeper people in a while, let's bring them back'. But generally speaking it is what they do.

It was quite surreal in season 10's insiders seeing a previously on of season 2's fifth race. You just didn't expect it

Yeah, I'm over it. I don't care if we see him again. It just feels like we've moved too far past that arc to really care anymore even for a one-off type episode.

I wouldn't mind if they summed off that arc, had an episode where they did. Where at the end ford returned home, to earth. (Willingly) A character based episode that did something I don't know But I wouldn't mind it, but agreed as said that the story ahs kinda moved on from there. It's just annoying when they leave you not knowing whether a character survived or not.

I think we will see him again, but his role will be minor. Not based around him returning or anything.
