this looks to be a strange episode
QUOTE Veteran actor Richard Kind will guest star on a comedic episode of Stargate Atlantis, now in production in Vancouver (story). Kind plays Lucius Lavin, a man from another world who has a very unusual affect on the Atlantis team, in "Irresistible," currently slated to be the fourth episode of Season Three. there have been Eight spoiler pics released for this episode. (PS how bad does Teyla look in the 1st pic?) |

QUOTE (PS how bad does Teyla look in the 1st pic?) yeh... she looks abit dishevelled + those pics remind of 215-Tower EDIT: I don't know how Ronan would do in a comdeic episode... he seems too serious to be in an ep like this This post has been edited by kordone: Jun 6th 2006, 3:28 AM |

I'm just wondering why is John pointing a gun at Dr. Beckett in the last picture?

maybe being hit with a wraith stunner is enough to snap anyone who is under his 'spell' out of it? I'm guessing that maybe Lucius Lavin isn't as nice as he seems or someone in his group causes a few problems? |

I think maybe those beautiful girls we see everywhere around him are the ones that have something to do with this, and he's just a pawn in their game. I'm not surprised to see that Sheppard will be the clear voice of reason. Kind of like in The Lost Boys and The Hive.

I am not a Richard Kind fan. I'm kind of on the fence about this episode. There is not enough known yet for me to make a statement about it. I think comedic episodes are needed, just not too sure this actor is the way to go.

It is a comdeic episode? and Shep is holding the Doc at gun point? Em, that's the impression that I got. It's to be a comedic one. And yes, Tori looks like she's going to bust a gut, doesn't she? I just don't care for the actor, Richard Kind. |

That can't be right... Are you sure that is not a typo in their schedule... I mean, how can they change the order of the episodes by their schedule?

No idea. Just what their schedualing says. Could be a mistake - they are only human after all ;) But the truth is production/airing order has been changed in the past - and even when it messed up with plot - Daniel's comments in Affinity make much more sense when you remember it was supposed to air after Covenant.

Well, I never knew that those episodes were suppose to be in reverse order, but I guess their order was not important for further plot. If this is the case here, then I don't mind, just think that Sateda will be much more exciting than Irresistible, just gonna have to wait an extra week...

Here are some new spoiler plot details for this episode:
QUOTE While looking for suitable Stargates to harvest for their new Intergalactic Bridge, the team comes across a small village with a revered leader. To their surprise the esteemed Lucius (Richard Kind) has an obnoxious manner and an utter lack of credibility. On Lucius's request, Weir (Torri Higginson) sends Dr. Beckett (Paul McGillion) to determine if any of his potions are worthy of trade. Though at first put off by Lucius's personality, Beckett soon becomes so enamored by his host that he disregards security protocol and brings him to Atlantis. By the time Sheppard (Joe Flanigan) and McKay (David Hewlett) return from another Stargate harvesting mission, they find the entire base fallen for Lucius's unctuous charm. Believing foul play is at work, McKay discovers that Lucius is using some sort of pheromone to enchant those around him. It becomes clear that unless Sheppard can remove the now entrenched and protected Lucius from Atlantis, there will be no stopping his charming coup d'etat. I do have a question. What does everyone think this means: "While looking for suitable Stargates to harvest for their new Intergalactic Bridge"...? |

For some reason this ep reminds me of sg-1's Urgo. personally i'm glad atlantis is doing a funny episode. I think sg-1 got to do a lot more comedy in the first couple season than atlantis has, so this could be a fun change. Hopefully they won't make it too weird.

Im a bit worried about this episode. The guy who plays Lucius(Or Lucian, Lucy...or whatever) had a spot in an episode of Scrubs. And he played a right a---hole (sorry admins, it has to be said), and ll im gonna be able to think of when i see this guy is how much he annoyed me in that Scrubs episode.

He is a different character in this show so he won't be the same as he was in Scrubs. I have never been overly fond of Richard Kind in anything he appeared in. I used to watch Spin City and he was annoying in that.

He will be in Atlantis for how many episodes again? 1 or 2... 2... That isn't too much IMO. If he was really that annoying, at least we won't suffer too long. I haven't seen any other show that had him in, and by the way you people are talking, I never will...
