I wondered if anyone else had noticed that Carter seems to be wearing a bracelet all the time in Season 6?
Considering her perchant for elegant jewellery when given the chance, this rather dull, but omnipresent band seemed a bit odd.... is it meant to be a piece of kit? But then i watched 'Paradise Lost' and Jack seemed to be sporting a bangle of ethnic beads..... which didn't seem very O'Neill to me.... Was there some new agreement with the actors in season six - in return for not making outragous demands as rewards for staying with the series, you get to wear your own jewellery on set? |

I don't remember seeing any bracelets, but I think Sci-Fi's close to showing the reruns from Season 6, so I'll be looking for the bracelets ya'll are talking about.
Are there any other gifts from fans that appear on the show? |

Yeah I remember seeing them. If I remember correctly some fan gave them to them, but I don't know. It wouldn't be the first time they nodded their heads at the fans though, so most likely the fan-giving-it-to-them is likely.

I think I read somewhere the bracelets Amanda and Michael sport were given to them during a USO tour they both did for Canadian soldiers serving overseas. The pair accepted the bracelets, knowing they might have to fight to wear them on air, but TPTB decided that since Sam was a soldier, she might very well wear something as a tribute to fallen soldiers. (Evidently, the bracelets were made from pieces of leather that were taken from the uniforms of soldiers who had been killed and their comrades wore them to remind them of lost comrades.) And I guess they just decided not to fight with Michael about it.
