After defeating several of those primitives she had a nice choice of their weapons (she used the sword which Dr. Keller had picked up to kill one of them). But later she is seen carrying only the big stick she had found earlier.

Just cuz there are main characters of the different sex in the show doesn't mean they HAVE/MUST jump each other. it shows that they have a life, friends... and more outside of SGA-1

The virtue of having Rodney become a father is that he would be thrown into an entirely foreign situation. We would get to see the changes in his personality, and the person he would become... I still want to see that, or at least something similar. It's like the movie Knocked Up.

I don't see how it is fun if they imply Teyla has many sexual partners, so many that she has no idea who the father is.

But the fact that she is keeping the pregnancy secret means that possibly (hopefully), there is more to it. I mean, what's so wrong about getting knocked up by your boyfriend? I mean, it happens. I mean, I'm sure she's not the first pregnant woman to go through the stargate. Think of all the refugees that both Earth and Atlantis have taken in (via the gate). I'm sure at least one of them was pregnant. Obviously, once she gets to a certain stage, she will be somewhat impaired. But that is a little while away yet. [/spoiler] What a waste of a potentionally good story line. not being able to do things the with the normal ease is just the modern societies way. there is nothing stopping them from doing everything they could do before they fell pregnant when they are that far in, apart from being tired from the morning sickness. i was a noob on here ages ago m8 and tbh i got the same reception. why? because i used msn type (abbreviating everything) i couldnt see what you're spoiler was until i scrolled down so i didnt see the problem tbh.
