Possibly. It depends on what TPTB want to do. I don't like the idea of Earth having a lot of ships with advanced Asgard tech. Logically, it would be easier to upgrade an existing ship than to build an entirely new ship from scratch.

This information is from the information of "be all my sins remember'd" on Gateworld:
NEW! December 18 - "The Replicators remain undeterred in their effort to wipe out the Wraith's human food supplies, but the Atlantis team is now armed with the means to track their ships. With time in short supply, Sheppard, Teyla and Ronon rush to evacuate those human settlements which lie in the path of the advancing Replicator forces. Meanwhile, both Colonel Caldwell (Mitch Pileggi), commander of the Daedalus and Colonel Ellis (Michael Beach), commander of the Apollo, arrive from Earth. Each is in possession of Asgard-based weaponry, ready to confront an armada of Replicator ships. But Dr. McKay is not convinced that this is the best offensive and, in partnership with a Wraith scientist, struggles to create a program that will effectively shut down the Replicators for good. But the team's best laid plans are fraught with hurdles, further fueled by an unexpected appearance from Larrin (Jill Wagner), the leader of a race of space travelers not unknown to Sheppard." As you can read the Apollo and Deadalus will be upgraded with Asgard weaponry Here's the link to the info page:Be all my sins remember'd |

The anti-replicator weapons don't work anymore since the episode lifeline. And their ships are made of natural ressources and not out of replicator nanites so if they would want to capture an asuran ship they will have to damage it first and then destroy the replicators one way or another

i thought that the engines were also powered by the zpm(until the asgard core was put in) and when the orii kept attacking because they could track the asgard core they switched back to the zpm.also jc1 thanks for that link the energy weapons look really cool.

» Click to Show Spoiler « well perhaps the ships systems can be powered by both so as not to tax one power source to much making both last longer. for instance if you have all the zpms power going to the sheilds and you want to open up a hyperspace window the asgard power source would power the engines until you actually were at hyperspeed at which time the zpm wouldn't be needed to power the shields so it could power the engines instead. |

i still would have like the weapon felger was working on to have been put on these ships as it seemed finished in that episode with the bounty hunters in sg1.

i still would have like the weapon felger was working on to have been put on these ships as it seemed finished in that episode with the bounty hunters in sg1. that weapon was supposed to be a hand held weapon not one for a big ship like the deadulus. it probably wouldn't have the power to make much of a difference against an enemies shields so it'd probably only be good against the wraith who don't have shields.also if you remember the weapon wasn't finished as it had to many bugs for instance it would break down after only one or two shots were fired. |

Felger's weapon was designed for the 302s but as he was a screw up, he screwed it up. As Lancelot said, the handheld weapon was just that - a hand held weapon.
Given what the have available on their 304s now, why would they go and install a crap weapon made by a crap scientist? |

because they know exactly everything about the weapon they created rather than not understanding the weapon the asgaard created.
still it wouldnt be difficult to make the weapon bigger. |

because they know exactly everything about the weapon they created rather than not understanding the weapon the asgaard created. still it wouldnt be difficult to make the weapon bigger. Its not just about making the weapon bigger. It needs to be efficient. You could make a weapon that extremely powerful but after one shot you don't have enough power to fire another would be extremely pointless. |
