I'm guessing he's a moderator there, or can be found at their site and forums.

These epidsodes sound... dry.gif I dunno. Wasn't there already a 'disaster movies' discussion. That was the first thing that came to mind when reading those summaries, especially thought of "The Day After Tomorrow". tongue.gif

Yes correct I am a moderator, actually the only one there.

I think these episodes sound great. It gives the Atlantis team an enemy that isn't the Wraith. I think these guys (Genii) are going to be trouble for quite a while.

It begins with Undergorund, where the Genii are introduced. Which is followed by The Storm, and then The Eye.

Apparently there is bad blood at the end of Underground, after the Atlantis team refuses to give the Genii C4. They are also pissed at the fact that the Atlantis team woke up the Wraith.

There should not be a doubt that the Alantis team takes the control of over Alantis. To me, there would be no point if it was not even attempted or some dark secret that Alantis has kicks this new threat out would be great. And second of all, I don't think ALL of Alantis has been explorered. Like in previous epidsodes, a few kids got lost in a transporter / Elevator, to another part of the base. Well, with that in mind, theres got to be more to Alantis. Maybe what they did not know is a room where such energy that the ZPM needs can be inserted or charged into the ZPM units, with using the Atmosphere of their planet. Who knows.... Just that with this new emeny, they can't hold the gate for too many epidsodes. And the ZPM units had to be charged by some degree, just where and how?

It's pretty obvious that not all of Atlantis will be explored until at least the end of season 1,one of the last episodes 'Before I Sleep' the team find an Ancient woman in suspended animation that happens to look exactly like Doctor Weir, probably her great 10 to the power of 10 grandmother or something.

If most of Atlantis was evacuated due to the approaching storm the Genii probably were able to get into Atlantis because the gateroom may have been unoccupied at time with no one to raise the shield or perhaps the Genii have the technology to disable the shield prior to gating in.In the stargate episode Orpheus they were able to lower the forcefield of the Aerubus Gate by sending a coded signal from the SGC prior to raiding the compound.

Back to Star Trek Enterprise: C'mon, this was the best season so far!!
Season one and two were just incredibly boring.

This is not Star Trek, and I doubt they will use the same actor for her own grandmother wink.gif
It's actually herself, I suppose. Think of it: If Weir travels to the past, suspended animation would be the most obvious choice to "return" to the present.

Yes,you're probably right, but that whole time paradox thing comes to mind Weir travels 10,000 years back in time to help try to save Atlantis from the Wraith. It dosen't work so she is put in suspended animation, she now discovers herself in suspended animation and knowing it was a failure won't bother going to try again, and if she does we can all be certain she will never return to Earth,as we all expect the rest of the team to do so eventually.

P.S. Hardly ever watch Star Trek Episodes, one sci-fi series I never got into.

i liked star trek voyager, enterprise was also good,
about the xindi yeah true the ending of the season was awsome
and the new season even promises to be better one.

about the second dr. weir. hmmmmm i wonder what will happen to her?
i think she is gonna die.
i mean what else they gonna do with 2 dr. weir???
it doesnt say anything about finding a time travel spacecraft....
i guess there was only one and dr. weir had already used it so that means we will be left with none to go back in time sad.gif

The part I am wonders will this accient help the crew or get asended before such thing could occur. And second, for it to keep continuing, they have to find some way to recharge the ZPM. Could this acient help, or could the asended acients take her away....

- I haven't seen Season 3 of Star Trek Enterprise, if it's better i guess i'll start watching it again

- The woman they find in suspended animation will not be an ancient
It will just be Dr. Weir in suspended animation from her future taken to the past.

The Eye,or the commencement of second part of season 1 in general should be in January 2005.Since we both live in the land downunder it could be significantly longer than that before it comes to regular TV

Large hurricanes don't merge. Compleate disregard for science in this episode. There is something called the Fujiwara effect. It prevents large hurricanes from merging. What they said in the episode about many hurricanes merging, is not possible, due to the Fujiwara effect.

I was fairly sure the Fujiwara effect was where hurricanes collided and span around each other, which would combine there force. Which isn't technically merging like they said, but Atlantis isn't Earth so maybe because Atlantis is mostly water it was possible.

I'm not good at science but i'm going to write my theories/thoughts:

If they don't merge, isn't it possible that they both hit each other and then fight each other til the end *of the hurrican span* and because they haven't merged they cause damage twice over...i know that doesn't make sense....

Because Atlantis is mainly water isn't it possible that the hurricane force would be larger and more water would be in the hurricane?
