It seems that female wraith have somewhat differnt telepathic ablities than the males. According to shepp and teyla they can read minds; or (im assuming for hopfuly obvious reasons that) only non-gene carrying humans.

But one thing i wanted to see this episode was super McKay hoped up on emzyme running around either beating up those is normally would pummel him, or he creates some crazy device that can do.................. well someting. You get the idea.

I AM SO UNBELIEVABLY PISSED OFF?..F***ING TMN I watched, on the edge of my seat, to the point where Shep threw the grenade at the Wraith and then the show just cut out and went to movie promos ?..WHAT THE F***. I didn?t even get to see the end?.HELP ME OUT. Can someone give me a play by play of what happened in the final minuets of the show ?.Leave nothing out. Stat from where Shep threw the grenade.

Erised: just because the wraith discovers that some of the humans which possibly can be deducted to have come from atlantis (unless someone cracks under interrigation) the wraith does not know that Atlantis is still there...

Pretty good cliffhanger! Does Sheppard and friends become a meal for the wraith?Can they figure a way to overpower the wraith and blow up the hive ship? Will Ford realize what an idiot he has been and agree to go back to Atlantis to be fixed? I don't mean to sound like the announcer for the original Batman series, but all these questions came to mind, since it is a cliffhanger episode. I did think it was cool that Ford got a bunch of guys to join him, formed a kind of supersoldier unit, with their own scientist who is working on perfecting the wraith enzyme. I liked the fact that sheppard was able to pilot a wraith dart, with help from Rodney of course. I wonder if he waited until his ship was parked would he have been able to unload his team successfully. To bad he didn't bring a stun gun with him, he would have avoided setting off the alarm, I think. If the death of the wraith warriors set off the alarm, how did Ford leave undetected? Hmmm...Tayla and Ronan were funny as Neanderthal like warriors, stealing each others food, and beating the crap out of each other for fun. Well, I guess all will be revealed in January!

Well I've seen the end now so this is what happened.

Rodney is freaking out back at crazy camp and two of Fords minions stood up and surrounded him. I don't know if they want to hurt him, kill him, or shoot him up full of enzyme because his story line ended there.

MEANWHILE:
Shep threw the grenade; meanwhile, and Ford and those guys were busy fighting off the wraith. They didn't have much luck though, there were to many of them. Shep and Ford and the rest all got stunned and put in a holding cell. After Shep woke up (eveyone else was already awake by then, because of the enzyme I guess) Ford started shouting, accusing Shep of screwing everything up.
FORD"I can't believe you screwed up!!!."
SHEP"I did what?"
FORD ?You set off the alarm you ruined the mission!!!"
SHEP "The dart went on auto pilot the second I got close to the hive, your lucky I was able to get you out!"
FORD "Why would it do that? Why would it go on auto pilot?"
SHEP "That?s what jumpers do when they gate to Atlantis"
FORD "Why didn't you say something?"
SHEP "Why didn't I say something?"(very angry at this point)
FORD "you want me to fail, you want me to look bad!"
SHEP "That's right you snot nosed little brat. I put my teams life on the line just to prove you wrong!!!!!"(I guess their not friends anymore)

Ronan broke up the argument by alerting everyone that some Wraith were approaching. A male wraith came and said that he wanted the one who flew the ship. Ronan got all in his face, then shot by a wraith stunner. Shep, like the great guy that he is, stepped up and said it was him that had flown the jumper.
He was led away and Ronan who is being helped up by Tayla says to Ford "if he dies you die!" Shep was brought before a female Wraith and she used her mojo to make him kneel in front of her. and that 's where it ended.

It was a great cliffhanger I have to say.10/10

I could not believe TMN cut the ending off. I was floored. Thank goodness I had already seen it by other *cough* means.

What a great episode this was!! One thing though, why didn't the other men who were taking the enzyme not have some kind of deformation like Ford and his weird eye? Was it because thay had it injected directly?

Great effects in this episode with the Dart flying through the Hive ship, simply excellent. It was a great cliff-hanger at the end with the Wraith Queen and Sheppard. Can't wait for the second part!!

Indirectly, yes. More accurately, it was because Ford got one MASSIVE dose at the beginning which his body became dependent on for survival. It was this massive initial dose which caused his mutations.

I thought that it was the side that Ford had exposed to the massive explosion that threw both of them over the rail and into the water. That his face took a hit and was healed at the same time he got the massive influx of the venum. That it healed him a wraith eye instead by mistake.

However, it was still due to the effects of a mass influx of a large quantity of wraith enzyme that caused his physical deformaties

Um....how did Ford get stunned?

In the previous episode with him, the wraith stunners didn't effect him, so why now?

yes it does seem like it didnt do as much to him. Maybe it was from the amount of Wraith gene he had in his system.

but what got me is why didnt the other boys get any physically apperance changes like Fords Face

I still think he got a physical change because he was getting a massive dose of the wraith crap and at the same time was exposed to the massive explosion right beside him. The wraith crap heals you at the same time as it sucks the life out of you. So you stay alive longer so they can suck out every last drop of your life force. I think the wraith crap did that to his eye as he floated face down in the water.

Stalker what scene are you talking about because I do not remember Ford getting a shot with a stunner in this episode. Can you remind me please.

that is what the purpose of cliff hangers, ake us wonder. But the pain is really there since we will only be able to see the next ep by 2006. arghh! hate very good cliffhangers.

wonder what will happen next? will the wraith would not be able to "suck" (should I use this word) sheppard as he was ,well, maybe, some form of inside him that still similar to the wraith ?

Yes it does look the same, but I have a hunch that Sheppard won't be so easy to feed on. Sheppard got some of that virus from the young Wraith girl that injected herself with it. Sheppard went kind of bug-like. I think he still has some of that in him. Remember they showed that there were people the Wraith couldn't feed on, Ronon for one. It should be interesting.

Hmmm, interesting thought Indy. If that were the case, it would certainly give Sheppard a huge advantage against the Wraith since he also has the ancient gene. But then it makes me wonder - has Sheppard's DNA been altered by all his Wraith enzyme/virus exposure? And if so, if he had children- would they be affected?

I agree Shep should still have his ancient gene, or would he be able to handle the Atlantis technology so easily? Or does he just know now from memory, from learning, from doing?

I have to think that Shep's DNA has to have been altered from the Wraith incident. How I have know idea, unless combined with the Ancient gene, it gives him a huge advantage. Along with McKay's, Beckett's knowledge, Teyla connection to the Wraith, Ronon's connection (he can't be fed upon), along with this new Shep thing, it should give them an advantage. It maybe something that the Ancients never had. It may help them in their defeat of the Wraith.

That being the case, I would think that any off-spring would have an advantage, especially if mixed with say, Teyla, who has a Wraith connection, the Wraith DNA.

I do not think it was a good cliffhanger, the whole story looked like a remake of Independance Day. We can easily think of what will hapen, the only thing we might not know is exactly how it will be shown.


Not the team, maybe some of Ford's men. The female wraith will probaly gain some information about existance of Atlantis or even Earth, but since their ship does not communicate with others that info will stay on the ship, and be lost when the ship gets destroyed. Besides it is much better for that one ship to keep the info to themselves, since they can gain access to a whole new feeding ground. Also if Sheppard is fed on, it probaly has no effect and he is returned to the holding cell.


Probably; the team is succesful in escaping from the holding cell, plants the C4 and gets back to the dart, and goes back to the planet while the C4 explodes and the hive ship is destroyed. How will they do this is the interesting part. Maybe they will overpower the guards when they bring Sheppard back.


I would assume that if he survives that he won't go back to Atlantis. He believes that he does not need any fixing, and he is perfectly fine.

Were did Ford and his men get there wepons because they looked to be very effective on the Wraith, one shot and they died i belive (or stunded to get the drug) as normaly it takes a lot to kill a Wraith with the normal wepons.
