Maybe that?s why they were so intent on getting the hyperdrive info from the 'Aurora' episode. That way, they could just spread out as far as they could & increase their feeding territory (& in the process find EARTH Their goal has always been to reach Earth. They wanted to capture Atlantis to use the Stargate to get there. After they thought Atlantis was destroyed they changed their focus to upgrading their hyperdrives. |

After they thought Atlantis was destroyed they changed their focus to upgrading their hyperdrives. Well, then i guess its safe to say that sooner or later at least one wraith hive ship is eventually going to make it to earth or in the milky way galaxy. Becuase if there focus is on upgrading there hyperdrives, there going to find a way eventually. whether they still the info or not. So, that would mean atlantis is going to have to keep there eyes on everything the wraith do and i am sure that would be pretty hard. |

Possible season 3 spoilers: » Click for Spoiler « And since the wraith are in some civil war with each other, the chances of other wraith having this info is pretty slim...So, my guess is they wont make to the milky way, unless something else happens...Whether they will evermake it to the milky way. I certainly don tsee it happening in the near future. |

I wonder who it will be that finds the wraith? another wraith hive ship which ends up blowing the other wraith ship or when the atlantians will end up finding them.
Even if they did get to Earth or even the milkyway Earth would be able to defend itself. |

I thought the Civil War thing was just a blag They wanted Atlantis to thing they were now on their side (form their own alliance ) & all they needed was the retrovirus (change the remaining Wraiths into human - new feeding supply) |

No, there is a civil war among the Wraith. Food is scarce so they have begun to fight each other for it. They used the civil war as an excuse to make contact with Atlantis.

I would have thought they wanted the retrovirus as a redundency plan in case they don't make it to Earth.

Only two Hive ships know about the retrovirus so if they dont make it to Earth then it is because they were destroyed. The Wraith aren't going to stop and turn around for no reason, they are going to try and get to Earth no matter what.

How do we know that the wraith didn't have a cruiser waiting for them, got the virus then went?

It's obvious from this episode that the Wraiths' goal was never to develop the virus. All they wanted was the Aurora mission logs and the location of Earth - and they got both.

quite scary considering that the Wraith stole the part of our database containing the location of EVERY planet... good thing they are all in a civil war & its only 2 Wraith Hives that have this info

I thought that this episode was kind of weir. The fact that the Atlantis team teamed up with the wraith .
It was still a very cool episode |

Yeah... they had no choice... one thought about this episode after watching it again...
is it possible that when Michael sent over the Wraith jamming codes over to Atlantis, they are the actual codes that are being used by the rest of the Wraith fleet & that they had modified their own so that the code that they sent would be useless against them but still usable against the rest of the Wraith? Or is it too early that they Atlantis team have an easy way of defeat Wraith Hives??? |

I am convinced that one O'Neill class Asgard ship could destroy all of the Wraith Hives! Season 3: » Click for Spoiler « |

In the FX shot of the Wraith transport approaching Atlantis... shouldn't we have been able to see the Daedalus parked somewhere?
