Well it'll be good to see Daniel.
I guess its possible not all the Asgard were on their home planet when it exploded... or the writers are running out of ideas |

There are several ways they could bring the Asgard back.
1) A small Asgard group could have broken away from the main group. However you'd think that Thor would have mentioned that at some point. 2) It could just be one Asgard that we are talking about. Perhaps one that was put in a stasis pod and is discovered. I do have one question though. What do the Asgard have to do with the big bang? What did I miss? |

» Click to Show Spoiler « So what if it's the wraith cloning process is the key to saving the asgard race, could they have downloaded their conciousness into a wraith clone body? |

From what I have read, the aliens are bad guys. The Asgard using the Wraith cloning process could be a good thought but if it is the Asgard in a different body, why are they bad guys?
I don't think it has been said they are the Asgard, just that a much lived and missed race will return. Pretty much everyone has come to the conclusion that they are the Asgard, as have I but I am coming round to the idea that these Asgard split from the main group millions of years ago and evolved on their own. |

Well the title 'Lost Tribe' does hint towards that conclusion |

I watched the youtube video. My first impression was that it looked like an Anubis Kull warrior. It got me thinking that we don't really know much about why the 4 races alliance was formed. Possibly this group is out there as a result of Anubis. I couldn't get a clear view of the mark, but it could be similar to the communication devices that the goa'uld use.

I got the impression that it was either a device attached to his head to control something like maybe his suit or it also looked like a scar like from a fight or something.

Could it be possible that these aliens could also be one of the enemies shown on "The Daedalus Variations" ?

I don't know where to put this because the thread isn't open yet for "Lost Tribe."
OMG, I didn't see that one coming whatsoever. The Aliens: » Click to Show Spoiler « So we got to see » Click to Show Spoiler « Todd, » Click to Show Spoiler « I have said before that I don't care for Keller and feel very strongly that she is a wrong fit for this show. I have not been a fan of the whole Rodney/Keller/Ronon triangle, now, » Click to Show Spoiler « It was great to see Daniel once again. This second half was as good as the first, IMO, but then both shows were written by Martin Gero and both were directed by Andy Mikita. So there was definite continuity going on. I'm assuming this was the last show before it returns next year since there were no previews. This post has been edited by IndyJan: Oct 11th 2008, 12:37 AM |

I liked it, one thing i got was a very firefly esque vibe from the traveller ship (also with a younger kaylee) Glad todd is still around though as hes an interesting character.
Bit dissapointed on the new aliens, would have been nice if they were like the ones seen in the alternate reality earlier on in the season. |

There really needs to be a system in place so that it isn't just Arc and Linz who can create episode threads...
Anyway: » Click to Show Spoiler « Oh and Indy, the show is running straight now, it's not breaking till Christmas. So the next ep is on next week. They wouldn't take the break after the mid season two parter, one of the points in the two parter being there is to bridge fans over from each half of the season if they split it up. |

I just posted my thoughts on my LJ. Am so glad I didn't peek at the spoilers. My jaw was on the ground right beside Daniel's, I so did not see that coming! They did have a teaser for the next episode, » Click to Show Spoiler « |

What? That totally escaped me. I guess i will have to rewatch and listen for that. Yep, that was said » Click to Show Spoiler « The Aliens, » Click to Show Spoiler « I so thoroughly enjoyed these last two episodes that I think it could have gone to a third one. I felt it was wrapped up too quickly. Not that anything was left out, I just wanted more. I haven't felt that way about an Atlantis episode in a very long time. Even my husband was impressed with it and enjoyed it as well. Oh and one thing about the people that helped, » Click to Show Spoiler « If this is going straight through and no break, it might help keep people's attention. There really needs to be a system in place so that it isn't just Arc and Linz who can create episode threads... The threads should be opening automatically. The discussion thread for 'First Contact' failed to do so and it looks like the same problem is happening here. |
