Second Lieutenant Group: Donating Members Posts: 539 Joined: November 11th 2004 From: California Member No.: 6,928 Gender: Male	The first episode of a brand new season will be the conclusion to The Siege Part 1 & 2 and is called The Siege Part 3 QUOTE Companion show Stargate Atlantis will debut with "The Siege, Part 3," finishing up the story begun with Season One's 2-part finale. There really hasn't been any real spoilers yet but I'd like to start up a conversation about the episode. So far from the last episode we know that Sheppard left Atlantis in the Puddle Jumper and head for the Wraith hive ship on a suicide mission. That's where the episode cuts off. What do you guys think will happen? Here's some additional spoilers about Season 2 Click for Spoiler Enemies old and new will be featured in the second season of Stargate Atlantis, starting of course with the central series baddies, the Wraith. "We'll be learning a lot more about the Wraith in the coming year," Mallozzi told fans at GateWorld Forum. The writers have also discussed a storyline involving the race that engineered the nanovirus ("Hot Zone"). "Hopefully, [we] will see them make an appearance in the second half of Season Two," Mallozzi said. "We'll [also] be finding out a lot more about the Ancients in Season Two. ... Brad [Wright] and Robert [Cooper, executive producers] have a whole, intricate backstory for the Ancients that they're sharing with us piecemeal over the course of the year." Civilian Group: Members Posts: 4 Joined: March 1st 2005 From: Eugene, Oregon, USA Member No.: 8,294 Gender: Male	I think that a logical conclusion to this dilemma is that Major Shepherd will detonate the nuke made by the Jenai on one singal hive ship and that before he explodes along with the puddle jumper he will be transported aboard the sister ship of the Promethius. The sister ship, ofcourse being the Dedelus, will then continue on down to Atlantis. They will install the Zero Point Module from Egypt into the City therefore activating the shield. Another possibility is that the Dedelus and it's F-302s will engage the Wraith threat still in space. The Wraith will no doubt disengage and fallback for reinforcements. Therefore Atlantis will live to see another series of 'Stargate Atlantis' It couldn't be simpler.

Either this episode or in the next 2 episodes. The daudelous, i hope im spelling it correctly, is the earth's newest type of battle cruiser, the x304 i believe. powered by a zpm recovered from egypt in sg1. so im kinda hoping to see some action of this new class of battleship by this episode

I think what will happen is that Shep will be thinking about not dying and the jumper will activate a transporter that we haven't seen yet and beam him back down to Atlantis.

I think that the dadalus will have asgard beeming teck as well as a half decent sheild generator supplied by the asgard - now that the crew member is coming with them. This generator will not be the zpm either.....it will probably go to atlantis. It should be able to detect the cloak anyway....the asgard are more adnacef than the wraith....to discuss this come to "Asgard V Wraith" in sg1 spoilers and speculation.

Yup dantilus is equipped with azguard tech. last episode sg1 seas 8 promethius has azguard beams so they would have equipped dauntilus the same.

SOOOO, if would make uber sense that the ship would be incorporated with their beaming technology. Got to love those Asgard. B.G. Rocks out.

The wrath on that epison activated a shield on the puddle jumper, I dont remember Shepp ever activating a shield (I would think he would have if he could) but this tells me the PJ has shields they just dont know it. So he activates the shield and is protected? Or maybe they have shields but there not menitoned? But I dont know but you would think if a go'ald's shields could withstand a nuke that the ancent would be able to...

They've never done it before when they were getting attacked. Also, I dont think that he will be beamed out either since we dont have any asguard scanning equipment and only beaming stuff (as mention in the sg1 ep where the stargate got stolen by the trust with the asguard beaming technology)

It was indicated way back in Episode 14 (Sanctuary). Sheppard's relationship with Chaya will save the day!! Come on it is all the rage at the moment! We just had it talked about in SG1 in a recent episode (Reckoning) and it was indicated that Chaya/Ashtar would come back in another episode soon... Hawk Thus, I believe here is the conclusion your all waiting for: Season 2: Episode 1 Click for Spoiler Sheppard will be hurtling towards the Hive ships.... and will probably get there and will push the button on the nukes. At this point, through the Stargate in Atlantis, Chaya will come in her ascended form. She will then brush past the infested Atlantis and the Wraith will disappear leaving stunned onlookers. She will hurtle towards Sheppard's craft, and at the last moment he will either disappear from the Jumper or he will be given the choice to ascend and be the protector of Atlantis for the future. The jumper will then explode taking out one of the ships... It will cut to a scene of Dr Weir who will look and say "he did a noble thing, but there is one left". At this point the other ship is intercepted by the Daedalus, which comes out of hyperspace and will then be destroyed. The scene will then cut back to Chaya, who will explain that Sheppard was right and she "could not stand by and let her descendents be destroyed, especially him, due to their bond". That she has been watching them and deems them worthy to accept the gift of Atlantis. Sheppard will probably say no to ascending at this point and say that he will find another way, as with Daniel. Chaya, will say ok, but she will be keeping an eye on him or something like that. Thus, Sheppard is returned to the Atlantis control room, where Chaya, in her human form appears briefly. Rodney, will probably say something like.... oh god he is Captain Kirk saving the day!! Dr Weir will probably say something like, "I am just thankful for the lives saved today and that we have a second chance to try and find a way to stop the Wraith. Perhaps with cooperation we will eventually find a way to defeat the Wraith once and for all." However, she will point out "that the costs have been high". It will then cut to a shot of the dead Everett !! She will continue by saying that "perhaps today?s sacrifices will show that that the Wraith are not invulnerable and can be defeated!"

Chaya already admitted that they won't help them with the Wraith. Not that I don't want to have her back or anything, I would like that, but I don't see it happening. Click for Spoiler I recon that just before the nuke explodes, Sheppard will get sucked up by a Wraith microfighter that's out of ammo and taken back to the surviving Wraith mothership. The surviving Wraith mothership gets scared of this unknown ancient technology and retreats. Daedalous arrives, but it's depleated the ZPM in the process so no sheild for Atlantis. Everyone thinks Sheppard is dead, but Teyla sees him in one of her visions on board the Wraith ship. So now we're back to S1E1... Atlantis with no ZPM, and a team member captured by the wraith that they have to go rescue. Plenty of plot line to last out the series. Would be even more plot if for some reason the Nuke doesn't explode. Maybe Daedalous takes out 1 of the Wraith motherships instead thus depleating the ZPM. That would really upset the Genii. UPDATE! Click for Spoiler Nuke cripples one of the two Wraith motherships which does a suicide dive towards Atlantis... Daedalous crashes INTO the ship to stop it from hitting Atlantis, destroying both of them. No ZPM. Atlantis saved. Other Wraith ship runs away with Sheppard onboard. That would just totally suck. I mean Earth builds another ship then right after its first mission in gets destroyed. I mean that is a big buzz killer. Though My big question is how do they get Sheppard back? I'm mean they can't just walk onto a Wraith ship and go "Hey were placing bail for good friend John Sheppard. You mind sending him out?" This episode is going to be interesting.
