I think the series is getting bettre and better.
They have better plot lines than last season (last season it seemed to drag at the start as they visited new planets, met new people, that kind of thing) And they had such great music, the anticipation just got me going, it was a good choice. Shep is doing a lot better and he seems to be really passionate about what he is doing and him looking out for Ford and not wanting to let go on the fact that Ford may not be retrievable... He is standing up for not only himself but for other people as well. The cuite quips in this episode were enjoyable but some people may not think they were noticable (i laugh at nearly everything so it could just be me) Anyway, good episode! |

This was a great episode, so much better than episode 2. McKay was brilliant, quite a few girly screams. Ronan looks like he is going to be a great character. My only gripe is Ford or the lack of him. He is such a good character so far in season 2, it is annoying that he is only a recurring character. He is so much more interesting than he was in season 1, then he appears in only a few episodes. Very annoying.

Is Ronan going to become a regular character now?
It looks like Colonel Cauldwell has some issues with Sheppard. Could they come to blows??? I maybe wrong in this (Military Ranks are not a strong point of mine) but is Cauldwell a full Colonel or is he the same level as Sheppard. How would it work if Cauldwell out-ranked Sheppard but there was an important decision to be made. Would Sheppard have the final say. And what about Doctor Weir - would she have any input into say, the deployment of military personnel? |

Would Sheppard have the final say. While Steven Caldwell out ranks Sheppard, Weir out ranks Caldwell becuase she is operational command of Atlantis. On Atlantis Sheppard is ranking military officer, technically Caldwell cannot give him orders because Weir is Sheppard's direct superior. And what about Doctor Weir - would she have any input into say, the deployment of military personnel? |

This was a reasonably good episode, but not great.
I liked the brief confrontation between Shepard and Caldwell, in the begining. It's nice to have someone in authority for Shepard to disagree with, which he never really did with Weir. Mckay was sometimes funny, but also annoying, I could see why Ford wanted to shoot him. Shepard was somewhat dissappointing. He seemed to have the all tactical ability of McKay in this episode, which is odd because in prevous episode's against the Genii and Wraith, he seemed to always use very good tactics, especially considering he's pilot, not a soldier. Not really sure what to make of Ronan Dex just yet. |

frankly i've been a little disappointed by 'the siege 3' & 'intruder' so far, however this episode brought it back up a level again to where it should be
after the half of the second season i have to say that this is one of my favourite ep the bests were Lorne with McKay: SHEPPARD: ...and Major you?ve got McKay. LORNE: Oh, lucky me! McKAY (offering him some sunscreen): Here, try some. SPF 100. LORNE: A hundred? McKAY: Yeah, can?t buy this kind of protection. Make it myself. Waterproof too. LORNE: Great ... LORNE: Wow ? you must really be some kind of genius! McKAY: Well, as a matter of fact, I, um ... wait a minute. See, why would you say that now? LORNE: Something has to have kept Colonel Sheppard from shooting you all this time! McKAY: Yeah, yeah, like I didn?t see that one coming, huh?! and obviously the nice talk between Sheppard And Ronan was very funny:bow: |

Did anyone else notice that Major Lourne was in 7x07- ENmey Mine? In the SG/Atlantis magazine the actor said, they were looking for someone for Atlantis. He went in and wanted to audition. They recognized him and said they would use his character. The difference being that in Enemy Mine, he was more geological minded. On Atlantis, he's more military minded. Either way, I don't care. I like Lorne. I hope that his character gets developed more next season. |

Ford's personality shift is due to the Wraith enzyme, he can't control himself anymore.
» Click to Show Spoiler « You can't say that Ronon would be a better character if he got good stories because this was his first episode. You see more of his background in season 3. In the future don't type in capitals please. |

I saw this episode today during their day long marathon on the sci-fi channel.
Watching this episode again showed how Ronon was an interesting character from day one, unlike Ford, who was not during all of season 1. Ford only became somewhat interesting during this episode because of what they had done to him. In fact, IMO, Ronon was more interesting from this first appearance than Teyla as well. As far as Ronon being fed upon, » Click to Show Spoiler « During season 5, » Click to Show Spoiler « |
